I was here for a work trip - and had to spend a lot of hours at the hotel due to my meetings during odd hours . . I had a comfortable 3 days in this hotel - loved the promptness of their guest services and had a great ambience for a solo traveller - super safe! Infact, I had to push my stay an extra day, and they did it within an hour. They were kind enough to send the front desk staff to get my billing in place, in my room. That's something I haven't experienced in any other hotel till date.
Excellent service. The staff is really cooperative Ambience is amazing. Has a gym, pool and other facilities necessary. Food was great too. Overall a great experience. Good place to stay with family. The place is typically buzzing with business executives from different nationalities.
I had visited this hotel with my family for relaxation trip. The destination of the hotel was nice. The hotel was located in the city. The parking place was available in the hotel. The check in and check out was on time. The behaviour of the staff was friendly in the hotel. The room provided by the hotel was neat and clean. All amenities were available in the room. The room price was not reasonable in the hotel. The food quality was good in the hotel. The activities were not available in the hotel. I would not suggest anything to this hotel.
The hotel is tugged away from the chaotic roads of koramangala. It's a luxury hotel ideal suited for a business traveller. There is a restaurant by the poolside. There is a spa where you can unwind yourself. The hotel is well maintained and gives you a relaxed feeling, takes away the tiredness of traffic that you have encountered to reach here.
Good Hotel to stay in - located in a good area in Koramangala, easily accessible from the city, shopping, restaurants/fast food joints / night clubs/ pubs, etc. Good food and great service! The staff is very courteous and helpful. Gym & pool are well maintained. The poolside restaurant can be better done up with more variety of food. Especially fast food to be added.

Grand Mercure Bangalore is a luxury hotel tucked away in the residential area of Koramangala in Bangalore. I was surprised to know this hotel has been there for more than 3 years now. When I stayed there, I attended the Lebanese Food Festival at the 12th Main restaurant at Grand Mercure Bangalore. When I usually read about Lebanese food, all I think of is hummus and Babaganoush. But it was wonderful to know that there was a lot more to cuisine as I could see when I went for the buffet there. The entire restaurant was decorated in Arabian and Lebanese style. The beauty of the place was charming and inviting people to take part in the gastronomical journey of Lebanon there As many of you know, Lebanon is an exotic country located on the Eastern Coast of the Mediterranean. Like India, the culture of Lebanon is infused with cultures from various empires. From the Ottoman Empire to the French Empire, the taste of Lebanon has been widely influenced. From the Ottoman Empire, the Lebanese menu changed to include olive oil, fresh bread and Baklava, a famous dessert. From the French empire, they included many of their famous patisseries. And of course how could one forget the evergreen and the most popular Shawarma! It is from Lebanon too and was on the live grill so that we could enjoy it's taste! Executive Chef David and his team were on hand to ensure that we had a wonderful experience of tasting the best Lebanese food this side of the Mediterranean In starters for vegetarians, there was Arnabit Makhali( Fried Cauliflower) and Mucver (Zucchini fritters). For non-vegetarians, there was Lamb Kibbeh (Mutton Kebabs) and Shish Touk (Tender chicken pieces with tri peppers marinated in Lebanese spices). Personally I loved the Lamb Kibbeh and Chicken Shawarma which was from the live counters. The highlight of main course for me was the Batenjen ablama which is stuffed eggplant with minced lamb meat. Executive Chef David explained to me that this recipe is very rarely seen in Lebanese restaurants but is one of the most sought after recipes in the homes of Lebanon! I must say it tasted brilliantly well In main course for vegetarians, there was Batata harra (spicy potatoes), Bamia bil zayt (Okra stew with tomatoes and garlic and Makhlouta (Lebanese stew of mixed beans ). The tastes may be a little bland for Indian liking but David explained that they use a lot of lemon in their cooking and have a mix of almost 15 different spices in most of their cooking. These spices are different from Indian spices as the focus is not on burning your tongue but bringing unique flavors out! The closest to Indian taste buds was the Samak harra which is Lebanese chilli Fish. I enjoyed this quite a bit too and took second helpings of the same There were lots of salads like Fattoush (Fattoush is a Levantine bread salad made from toasted or fried pieces of pita bread combined with mixed greens and other vegetables), Tabbouleh Salad (Chopped Parsley, Tomatoes and Bulgur Wheat and herb salad), Hummus(Chickpeas, garlic, tahini and olive oil), Babaganoush(Cooked eggplant mixed with onions, tomatoes, olive oil and various seasonings but one unique salad was the Mohamarrah which is made of red pepper, walnut and pomegranate dip The Lebanese people have also thought of a way to eat without the use of cutlery. Their staple diet includes their famous flatbread which can be stuffed with a variety of side dishes and enjoyed. Just like Indian Cuisine which is best enjoyed by eating with hands, The Lebanese food can similarly be enjoyed. So we enjoyed the pita bread with a variety of salads amongst wonderful ambience. We ended the fabulous meal with desserts like Baklava ( Phyllo dough stacked with honey and nuts), Maamoul bil joze(Semolina tart filled with walnuts), Riz bi haleeb(Lebanese rice pudding) and Kanafeh ( Sweet Cheese Pastry). Presence of rose water in each of the desserts is the highlight of Lebanese desserts. They provided a perfect ending to a Mediterranean gastronomic cruise!
The location of the hotel was good. The check in and checkout was on time. The behaviour of the staff's was good. I had visited this hotel alone. The room was very neat and clean. The food was nice with quality and quantity. The room service was good.
Location of the hotel was good. It takes about one hour from the Airport. Pickup and drop facility was chargeable there. Inside appearance of the hotel was very good but from outside it was okay-okay. Check-in and check-out was done on time. Staff behaviour was good. They were very friendly and cooperative with us. Service wise, it was good. Room was spacious. AC, TV, geyser or everything was provided in the room. There all were functioning properly. No view was visible from there. Food was good. We took breakfast there it was not complimentary. Swimming pool was there but I did not use it. It was included in tariff. They charged Rs. 4000 for a room per day. It was reasonable for me. It was a family trip for roam around. We went for outing by our own car. It was value for money. I can suggest this hotel to my relatives and friends. They should serve complimentary breakfast to their valued customers.
Excellent ambience, classy, expensive, according to my knowledge it's suitable for delegates, celebrities, and business stayings, for common rich people it's little difficult to adjust hotel rules and regulations, I stayed for one night and a day with my brother family, we felt little inconvenience with floor key card security system. Modular kitchen with utensils, system is superb. We can cook and eat easily. Gate security and parking employee's behaviour is very rude. I love to stay rich ambience and classy hotels, but I don't want to be stay next time in this hotel.
Hotel is good. I stayed there for two days. Hotel location is fine. Appearance is good. Services were excellent. There were no outdoor activities available. Rooms were fine. Food was nice; it was fantastic and good menu. So we are all enjoyed all the moments and it is unforgettable thanks grand mercury and team for good service.
Have been to Grand Mercure, since my previous employer was located close by. The hotel is a great place for a dinner party. Ensure that you choose the restaurant which is by the pool side. Mercury is also located at Koramangala, which is one of the finer localities in Bangalore. This is also a great place for a team lunch, in case your company is located at Koramangala.
