Gurudwara Nada Sahib Overview

Ranked 2 of 2 sightseeing in Morni Hills

Gurudwara Nada Sahib is situated in Panchkula along the banks of the Ghaggar River. After the Battle of Bhangani in 1688, Guru Gobind Singh took rest here, before heading towards Anandpur Sahib from Paonta Sahib. The Guru was welcomed by Nadu Shah, after whom the Gurudwara has been named.

In 1956, the Gurudwara was taken over by the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee from the Dharmarth Board of Patiala and East Punjab States Union. It lies on the Panchkula-Naraingarh Highway and has a museum, three storey parking area and a langar hall. The place is visited by many travellers every month on full moon day.

Heavenly peace on earth

It is one of the best divine places, away from all the traffic of the city. The place is very peaceful and you find it the best place to connect yourself to the divine. I would recommend everybody to visit here at least once.
