I just viewed this great place and beautiful hotel. My heart tells that I should stay the whole year in this nice hotel because the staff of the hotel are very excellent, ventilated rooms, maintained and nice picking.
We were a big group - our primary concern was cleanliness in terms of the place and food. This hotel met both our requirements. The food is good and clean. We drank regular water - it was clean -no health issues. The staff is very courteous - helped us out in every way -with additional room heaters, hot water to drink, our truck load of luggages. I definitely recommend my friends visiting Katra this place. They make good Kahwa(Kashmiri tea) -do try. Note the drop/pickup from ban Ganga is complimentary by the hotel. But the trip to helipad cost Rs 150/- one way. For those who are concerned about WiFi, WiFi is available in lobby area only. There are no repeaters in the room for WiFi. This did not bother us -we were there for Maa Vaishnodevi Darshan. Stayed December 2015, travelled with family.
The hotel is nice, the location is wonderful. Actually it is a heritage site and adjoining building is a king's palace. Service is okay, rooms are good but the main thing is its location which is the best. You can enjoy the breakfast in its lawn with cool breeze touching you. It actually belongs to DOGRA ruler. Located just on the border of Jammu city. I enjoyed the stay there.
