Harmandir Sahib or Golden Temple - Must Visit

This was only the second time I visited the GuruDwara and the last time I did was more than 15 years ago. Had some vague memories of the temple. This visit was amazing and I would recommend that anyone who visits North India must visit this place in Amritsar. Amritsar is well connected by Air, Railways and by Road and the whole vicinity of the Gurudwara is very soothing and pleasant. The additional attraction since my last visit was the 3D show. The whole place is very wonderful and exhilarating. Will not think twice if I had the opportunity to visit it again. Sat Sri Aka.

Religious Visit

The number of people visiting here is increasing day by day. You have to stand in queue for darshan. Unlimited langar (holy food). Please carry your own handkerchief, scarf or stole to cover the head inside the premises of the Gurudwara. Be light with purse and bags as it's a crowded place and you might feel tired carrying it for longer period.

Holy, awesome and so calming

Well obviously without visiting the Golden Temple one can't finish his Amritsar Trip :) This is the most holy place for all Sikhs and the most decorated one in all of India too. The temple is surrounded by water on all sides and is just amazing to look at. Feel the divine power flow through you and listen to the Shabd playing on and lose away all your tension and pain and suffering. Amazing experience.
