The Hatkeshwari Mata Temple Complex is situated on the banks of the River Pabbar and is dedicated to Goddess Hatkeshwari. This shrine portrays Goddess Hatkeshwari as Mahishasurmardini, an incarnation of Goddess Durga.

The temple complex is famous among travellers for its Shikhara style of architecture. Visitors can see the beautiful idol of the goddess built in bronze placed in the inner sanctum of the temple complex. The idol shows the eight-armed goddess driving her spear through the heart of the devil Mahishasura.

The temple complex also has a small Lord Shiva Temple, which is famous for its doorway. Inside this temple is located a Shivalingam. Tourists can visit the Hatkeshwari Mata Temple Complex during the months of April and October. During these months, the Ashwin Navratri and Chaitra Navratri Festivals are celebrated at the temple with immense fervour.
