A masjid at the bank of Dal Lake

We went there in the evening. This shrine is quite peaceful. . There is also a small garden facing the Dal Lake & adjacent to the shrine where people can spend their time. And there is a bunch of local shops which sell local delicacies.

Nice place

We visited Hazratbal Mosque in morning.. People were busy feeding pigeons over their.. It's a huge, beautiful structure describing it's glory... Like other mosques there are rules for worship... Overall a calm experience.

Good sightseeing place

It's a sacred place and you will feel like praying. If you indulge yourself in the prayer completely then yes it will enlighten your soul. Though the pigeons that feed here are worth to see and scary too for some people because they all fly in a quick span. Really active. Nearby place are worth to go because you will be able to see traditional Kashmiri people life and environment.

A calm place

I forgot myself on entering into the mosque. By how the silence is maintained in side. My two eyes were not enough to enjoy. There were lot of pigeons right side of the mosque.

Where boating is also available, the fountain was so nice and we can spend 1 hour here. Must visit for all age groups when you are in Srinagar.

Fabulous mosque

It is actually a very large mosque with a single peace of hair of Hazrat S.W.S. which will be opened to see in a year only 10 times. It is covered somewhere in mosque. We were not on the right time there so was unable to see it.

Good religious experience

First and foremost we saw hundreds of pigeons when we visited the shrine and it was really very nice. The whole area is so very pious and holy. You can have a water bottle, handkerchief for covering the head.
