Riding through the slopes of Uttarakhand, I was charmed when we got to the methodology street of Himalayan Village. The tight pathway driving up was scarcely sufficiently wide for an auto, yet certainly makes for an exquisite walk going through pine backwoods along the way. Wonderfully set up amongst the backwoods, Ashish and his family makes you feel at home with the comfy rooms and simple nourishment. A truly place to unwind and be unified with nature, we likewise utilized this as a base while riding through alternate towns around the region (Almora, Binsar ). Certainly a huge ordeal that I will make a beeline for sometime in the not so distant future
We had booked the room in this awesome property for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of the stay. We reached around 8 am and were served hot and delicious breakfast. The rooms are average but gives you privacy from other guests staying in adjacent rooms. The resort gives a great view of the Nanda Devi peak and the Trishul on the Himalayan Ranges. The view of Almora hill station at night is lovely. Overall a great stay and would loved visit again. The owner himself looks after the management and guests.
The visit was to enjoy the nature and monsoon in the Himalayas. The Resort is just wonderful to be in and enjoy the nature. We stayed for three nights and did not go out of the place for any sightseeing. The owner takes care of things very nicely and manages the resort just like his home and his own guests. The food served was awesome and delicious.
We were in the hotel for 2 days and I must say it is a little gem tucked away from the Hullabaloo of mall road. But not to far to walk down to be in limelight! So 5 star for location. We took up Deodar suite which has been done so beautifully keeping alive the old world charm and yet contemporary. Food was very good quality so was the service .
Hotel was little congested. Hotel was average. Nainital is very cold area. Geyser was not provided in the room. Water availability was on time it was not acceptable. Check-out was on time. Food was so-so. Garden was there but it was not spacious. Facility was not good of this hotel and I will not recommend this hotel for other travelers. It was my family trip in April 2013.
Hotel was conveniently located and it was situated near the city. Staff member behaviour was friendly and services were provided quickly. Rooms were spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. Greenery view was available from the room. Inside appearance of the hotel was excellent and outside appearance was okay. It was a honeymoon trip. Activities like indoor, outdoor games were not available from the hotel. Suggest improving the stairs by outside of the hotel. Stayed for 4 days. Nainital was very good. Location was excellent. Check-in and check-out was in time. Overall, services were good. Food quality and taste was delicious. No sightseeing was arranged by the hotel. It was worth for the money. Would like to recommend other travellers.

Himalayan Village is located in a mountain village of nainital . Its just awesome. Food was excellent . I loved my stay at this place It was a great family holiday, amazing place to experience the outdoors. the mountain views is the stuff dreams are made of.
It is a very small resort hence the facilities that are talked about above are not detailed, for example there is no check in or front desk, not much organized leisure activities nor a fancy menu, however, the people who manage it make it special, meaning, you just of to ask for your bill, or any food and it is done for you. Yes one has to keep in mind that resort is located way away from humanity in the Kumaon region, the region itself deosnt have much of infrastructure and the resort is even more remote within that region. So nothing fancy should be expected. But yes, the simplicity and the willingness of the poeple running the place more than fulfill what is missing by way of major infrastructure . . Actually it is a nature resort, where you would get nature in it's true form plus some one to take care of you with all the warmth. Infact you have to walk three kms from the road to reach there.
The Himalayan Village Location and lookwise excellent, reception was very good, service was very good, rooms was excellent, food was very good, Activities like sight seeing, indoor games, golf, etc was very good

After having tough time in booking hotels in Udaipur,Mt. Abu for vacation, my cousine booked a small hotel in Nainital, that others were not comfotable of. I found this hotel on holidayid. I called the owner Ashish Arora and that's when best experience started. He explained me each and every thing (positives and negatives) about the place. I shared our plan and he guided throughout the tour. We drove to Sonapani from Delhi for our vacation. Location is very beautiful, moutain view etc...It was a great family holiday, type of place that we love to visit to calm and relax, away from hactic life of cities. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel more like part of family.
It was a great family holiday, amazing place to experience the outdoors. the mountain views is the stuff dreams are made of. The hosts are very friendly and make u feel more like house guests than customers. Food is homely and freshly picked from the orchards and vegetable gardens. And the stars!...lots and lots of stars! As many as the flowers and the butterflies flitting around them!
