Nice location. Good breakfast. Nice viewes of the ocean. Not much activity to do but overall enough for one night stay. Not much required when you have to spend one night. Good service. TV services needs to be improved.
Hi, this is Capt Saha from INDIAN NAVY presently posted at vizag. I stayed there with family for holiday and liked it. However sky is the limit and there is always a scope for improvement
The "HORNBILL NEST RESORT" stay is a full satisfaction of your hard earned money for a destination . Andaman and Nicobar is known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests . The Hornbill Nest Resort is located near Corbyns Cove beach a must visit resort.
We stayed in a super deluxe room and you can see the sea from the room itself! The food is very good, nothing too fancy but everything that you need while travelling and with good taste. There are plenty of seating arrangements, especially in front of the super deluxe rooms, and you can see beautiful sunrises from here. They light up the whole place at night and it looks quite festive. There are two dogs who seem to recognize and be afraid of only the security guard but they do not cause any disturbance. Overall, a memorable experience.
We had super deluxe rooms, the views were excellent being very close to the sea and on a elevated ground. Best location to relax and sit on the lawns and do nothing. The staff were friendly and kept the place clean . . The food in the restaurant was however lacking in options. But the staff were ready to provide as per your taste. There was no way to catch a quick auto and go roaming. You need to walk about 800 m to the beach to get one, unless you have your own hired vehicle.
The hotel is located in a very serene environment that helps its guests to unwind and relax. One can spend hours absorbing the beauty of the sea and that of the surrounding flora and fauna. Of all the locations I visited in Andaman - I found content here. I would also like to thank the staff of the hotel who were seamless with their work and service. The food was excellent and so was the presentation. During our breakfast - the restaurant staff would insist on us having little more food just in line with the Indian (rajasthani) tradition of 'Manohaar' . . Some areas where the management may consider improvement are:. 1. There is a map of Andaman and Nicobar islands in the reception that is finished and framed in wood. There needs of different texture / color used to differentiate sea and land. Also having names of destinations / islands would help. 2. The resort is built on gradient and there is ample space in terms of landscape. The management could consider having ramp with proper slope so that elderly guests can find it easier to navigate 3. The main dome over the reception / restaurant is home to many lizards - a pest control would help. Regards.
1. Great ambience, front desk was very polite, thorough and humble . . 2. The room was clean and tidy and absolutely superb with mesmerizing view of the Oceanside . 3. Food was very homely, with great taste and good variety of both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes . 4. Free WiFi added another feather in the cap of services . Will surely like to visit again
The hotel is situated at the best location and offers excellent sea views from all most all the rooms which can be romantic for a couple, the garden area can be idle place for children too, a must place to be there if you are in Port Blair. All the staff is very good in nature. Improvement can be done at restaurant for pure veg customers. And shower pressures in the Bath rooms can be increased.
I had visited this hotel for holiday purpose. The pickup and drop facility was provided by the hotel but it was chargeable. The room service was done on time. The complimentary breakfast was not provided by the hotel. The room price was reasonable in the hotel. The activity was arranged by the hotel. The WiFi connection was not provided by the hotel. The parking place was available at the hotel.
The location of this Govt. Run accommodation is at Neil Island is approximately 300 metres away from the Neil jetty, so if you do not have large or bulky luggage you can simply walk across to the resort without hiring an auto/taxi. If you have bulky luggage you can hire the services of the rickshaw vans that are available when you step off the ferry. The guys will charge you about Rs. 30 to take your luggage to the resort There are 5 rooms in this resort along with a dormitory. We had booked a room here and found it to be quite good. The Manager, Mr. Shahid is a very proactive person and along with his entire team runs the resort very efficiently Charges are very reasonable, only problem is the cumbersome booking process Food is also very good at the resort. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed each meal.
The hotel was a very well maintained one and has improved after new maintenance done a year back. The hotel has a calm and serene environment especially for city dwellers who would like a time out with family. Services have been good along with the food served and there is also a mini bar in the dining area The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hotel was situated in a very nice location near the Corbyn Beach and whenever you are in the dining cum guest area you can see the view of the surroundings. The hotel also does have a well decorated and maintained terrace where one can sit and feel the majestic nature around The rooms were also much cheap compared to other ones around. Some cons were that the location was a bit secluded and that one needs to contact Mr. Emlus Lakra of Andaman tourism for booking. Any ways its one of the best places as the Corbyn beach is Asia's 2nd best beach offering you various activities like speed boating, water scattering etc. The environment was very pleasant for city Dwellers and was especially great for Honeymoon Couples.
I was able to see a sea view from my room. The hotel was located near the beach. The room was well furnished, spacious, neat and clean. The service staff were very friendly and helpful. The interior and exterior of the hotel were excellent. I did not face any problem in check-in and check-out services. The hotel was very cheap and affordable. The quality of the food was very good and various dishes were served there. The service provided was excellent. The amenities were modern and in working condition. There were not any activities. The hotel could be decorated. They could build some garden around it.
It has best location just in front of Asias 2nd best beach. Nice view and cool breeze. Rooms were clean and bathroom was also maintained with hot water. Service was appreciating I would say, friendly and helpful staff. Beach has access to many water sports. Including Yacht renting for fishing.
