As a tourist place, Amritsar is average. It is a historical place. I visited there to visit golden temple. It was located on the Batala Road. Communication was very nice. Location wise, it was average. Outside appearance of the hotel was average but inside was good. Booking was done through other person. There was no problem in check in and check out. Welcome was very nice. Booking and front office people were good. Services of the staff were good. They were very cooperative. Room was also good. No view was available there. Food and drink was average. No activities were there so it was average. I visited there with my family in June. Hotel was in my budget. I can recommend both hotels to others.
Last month, my three friends and I planned a trip to Amritsar to explore Golden temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Wagah Attari border. So we need to stay at Amritsar for at least 2 nights. So we booked Hotel Ashirwad International which can be easily accessible from Amritsar Railway Station after we reached the railway station only. We reached the hotel during night and front office finds difficulty in arranging the room for us as we booked the room some moments ago before reaching the hotel. Anyway, thank god we were given room in their basement. However, the room is good enough to stay. We have given all the facilities. The service of the staff were excellent. Anyway the stay was good.
I had been visit to this hotel in the month of January 2016 with brother. Destination was very good. Location of the hotel was inside the city and very good, far from railway station. Appearance of the hotel was very good from interior and exterior. Check in & check out was on time. Service was on time and was very good. Staff of the hotel were cooperative and friendly. Room was neat and clean. All amenities were available with working condition. Hot and cold water facility available in the hotel. Room rent was excess. WiFi and parking facility available in the hotel. Food was very good. No activities were held at the hotel.
Hotel is good & approachable easily. Front office person is good & wellhead. Service quality is not good. Breakfast & food quality is also below average. Amritsar is good city but everywhere construction work is running & so much pollution in the whole city, good experience of visiting Wagah Border.
We were on office tour in December-January 2013, we stayed for two nights over there with my office colleagues, A/c room was provided by the company, we reached at 3: 00 a. M. Due to delay train, We were welcomed nicely and the Hotel view was fantastic ans services offered by the hotel was every good, we enjoyed very much over there Hotel location is in the middle of traditional market and a wholesale market is also near to Jaliawala Bagh we went there and we all bought two three shawls each (total 12 shows we bought) and we planned for Wagah Border, We can't explain, that is speechless, Wagah Border: This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in 1999. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides, and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nations' flags One Jawan (infantryman) stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the iron gates at the border are opened and the two flags are lowered simultaneously. The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side, followed by the closing of the gates again. The spectacle of the ceremony attracts many visitors from both sides of the border, as well as international tourists. I strongly recommend to the visitors in Amritsar must go for Wagah Border.
