Well located with limited parking space facility

5.0/7

Located very convenient, near to the Dale Lake and hotel appearance, exterior and interior were very good. Staff were good, polite, and professional and they were very caring and very attentive to all my needs. Room was spacious, neat and comfortable with good working basic amenities and maintained washroom with 24 hours hot water facility. No problem while check in and check out and there were no activities. They provided Hyderabad food, the quality and taste was very good. There was limited parking space facility. I stayed here for 2 days with family for relaxation. I was satisfied, the hotel room tariff was value for money and it is recommendable to others.

Average rooms and unhygienic food

1.0/7

Food facility was available there but it was not tasty and also not hygienic. I visited there for official purpose. I stayed there one night only but they charged about 2500rs. Rooms were not good. Pillow and bed sheets were not neat, clean. Lighting problem was also there. Intercom was not available in the room. Service was not available in the hotel but they charged the service rate. Overall my experience in the hotel was very bad. Hotel was very costly.

Experience of the hotel

4.3/7

Stay at the hotel was average. Food quality was not good and every time we used to ask for the meal items as it should have been properly monitored by the hotel staff in the dining hall. Dining hall needs some improvement and standard calling connection along with internet on payment should be made available. Electricity problem was there as there was no alternate supply made available by the hotel staff. Rest things were okay.

Average hotel but economical

5.8/7

It was not very good. This hotel was only for economical travellers. I travelled with my friends and colleagues on an official trip. It was close to the taxi stand and easily approachable. I stayed there for four days. The rooms were neat and clean with beds, chairs, TV, refrigerator and electric blankets. I did not have much food there because was travelling. Other people can visit this place it was good.

Budget hotel; nice services.

5.3/7

Hotel is nice. I stayed there for four days. There is a beautiful park available. Rooms were very nice. Rooms were neat, clean, and spacious. 24-hour hot water supply was available. I did not take food in the hotel. Hotel services were excellent. Hotel location is average. Appearance is fine. I booked my room there in advance and there were no problems with booking service to get the room. Srinagar as a tourist place is beautiful. According to budget, hotel is recommendable.

Poor management and staff

1.1/7

On reaching Srinagar we stayed at Hotel Grand Osheen, one of the worst hotel I had stayed in my life. Srinagar often faces power cuts, but this hotel doesn't have generator facility to cater to all the rooms, the geyser won't work on generator connection, so you have to wait to take Bath, else take a Bath with ice cold water The intercom phone network doesn't work, so every time for water or for food or for towel you have to walk down two-three floors to the reception to inform about requirements. The room attendant doesn't know his profile, while going out for sightseeing you give the keys to the reception so they can clean the room and fix the issues. In the evening they would have just kept the bed sheet folded, water is not filled in the jug, lights again stop working. DTH recharge was not done. They do the DTH recharge on daily basis, whether you are staying for two days or four days, in the evening you think of watching the news, DTH pop-up comes displaying for payment remainder which occupies the full screen The hotel has a small shop from where you can buy mineral water, cold drink or snacks, but the keys are with the owner so the manager is helpless and customer has to go out to purchase. The free WiFi never works, and if you pressurize to get it, they will sarcastically tell you that systems are not working. Worst is the manager is able to use it, but customers can't The hotel has five floors, without lift, image you want a bottle of mineral water, so from fifth floor come to the reception, request them for water, the manager or attendant would start searching for the owner and then get you that bottle of water. Lastly came the nightmare, we had to leave in the morning at 5:30am since we had to reach Jammu Tawi station to board train, two attendants were sleeping at the reception (They don't have security guard, another worst thing) we were with five year old kids and luggage. Both of them didn't wake up at all, nor even to open the main door to let us out to bus, nor help us with the luggage, even after constant shouts, they just wouldn't move, they don't have courtesy for tourists at all. Finally when we started shouting, they gave us key and we opened the door to go out.

Helpful staff & good hospitality.

5.0/7

I liked the hotel and the hospitality shown by the staff. They were very enthusiastic in serving and very helpful in assisting to know about the places. They were quite open which I liked very much as normally people will be busy and will not pay any attention. I recommend this hotel for people like me who are going to Kashmir for the first time.
