Improve a lot with the service part.

Posted 21 Jul, 2017

I visited Port Blair it was a Holiday trip. I went there along with my family in the month of May 2017. I booked it online through a private travel agency. The location of the hotel was fantastic and it was comfortable for the Vacation trip. The location was cool and free from the disturbance. There was no noise pollution. The resort was near to the beach and it was scenic. The appearance of the hotel was average and it was no impressive. The Front Office staff were cooperative. There was no travel desk facility in this hotel. The room was not spacious. The AC was very old and there was no remote to operate the AC. We have to operate the AC manually. The service of the hotel was not up to the mark and not responded on time. I have booked a deluxe room. The room was kept clean and neat. There were no activities apart from the WiFi facility. The WiFi connectivity was satisfied. We stayed there for 1 week and we had our breakfast and the dinner inside the restaurant. The food was tasty. They would schedule the next day sightseeing plan and they would delay and they break their schedule. Sometimes they will not arrange the complimentary breakfast on time. They did not allow to carry the food for the kids under aged 2 years. Since they have provided the complimentary breakfast they will not allow us to carry at least 2 small Idlies for my small son. The kid was not comfortable to have the food inside the restaurant. We have to take him outside and somehow we have to feed him. Even though we were ready to pay the money for the breakfast and they did not allow. I could say this was the worst service. They have to consider the guests part and they should allow them to feel the comfort zone. Our situation was very bad. We were not comfortable with the foods. We did not find the more South Indian Foods in this restaurant. There was an early morning boating program and they said they will arrange an early morning breakfast. They have provided 1 sandwich and Rs. 5/- Lays packet for each. We were totally 12 people and the food was included in our travel package cost. There was a lift facility inside the hotel. There were no special arrangements for kids. The hotel was value for money and it was a worthy stay.

Luxury without costing a bomb

Posted 9 Feb, 2016

Most people look for a hotel that is not heavy on pocket, but lives up to the luxuries that hotels are meant for. This is precisely what hotel Rishabh aims to fulfil and fulfils! Big, airy rooms, plush beds, huge and clean bathrooms, waltzed cupboards and other amenities are extremely good quality in the hotel. But what really sealed the deal for me was the food, it's very difficult to come across hotels in India which not only have good rooms, but good food too! Rishabh was outstanding with food. One could easily sense that the ingredients used were fresh and good quality, for a hotel that's not super expensive. Definitely do try their 'lachcha paratha'. The only two things which the hotel slacked on was the internet connection and the time taken for serving food, but network connection is a problem throughout the internet, so that's understandable. They should work upon their food serving time, but I highly recommend them anyway. Oh, I didn't mention that they are located on a lovely hill in Port Blair, the location is perfect for a relaxed stay in the lap of nature, and there's a departmental store within walking distance. I think it's a lovely place to stay, and I really appreciate the fact that they haven't kept much difference in the deluxe and regular rooms. I totally recommend this for stay, in fact, I just recommended it wholeheartedly to a friend who is visiting Andaman.

Good hotel good services

Posted 21 Jul, 2017

I traveled Port Blair in the month of May 2017 with my colleagues on a business trip. I booked a room in Hotel Rhishabh through an agent. The destination was bright with the clean atmosphere. It had a good environment. I liked it so much. The hotel location was very good. It is in the center of the city. There are few sightseeing places also. It was convenient to reach the location. The appearance was good and attractive with the colors applied to the building. The front office was very good. The booking was done fast. They were helpful in providing useful information about the places rooms facilities and services. But it was 24 hrs process was followed. The hotel executives should provide noon to noon process. Because early checkouts will be difficult. Rooms were superior. It was spacious clean neat and tidy. All the basic amenities were presented. The AC door was not closing properly. So the water was leaking and the AC was running continuously. The room service was just good. They were on-time. Foods were delicious but only limited items were there. They should improve the varieties in the food menu. There were no fun activities in that hotel. We traveled by car there was parking facility and it free of cost. The overall service was just satisfactory. I suggest the hotel management to provide noon to noon process and to add more food varieties in the menu.

On a leisure trip with the family we traveled Portblair in May 2017. We reserved our room in Hotel Rishabh directly. Portblair was really excellent and outstanding. The location of the hotel was marvelous. It was centrally located. Fortune hotel was beside the hotel and also marine hill was near to te hotel. We can view the ocean from the top of the hotel. We reached the hotel by cab. The hotel was not having parking area. The exterior of the hotel was excellent. We were given warm receiving to us. The front desk of the hotel was very good and attentive. They did the service without delay. Even while checkout we did one hour late but they didn't say anything they were very cooperative. The room was excellent and class. Housekeeping was regular. Food in the restaurant was almost seafood. Nearby to the Hotel Annapurna was good for vegetarian. WiFi was effective. This was a very affordable hotel. All over we are satisfied with the hotel.

Overall service was very good

Overall service was very good. I was satisfied in the hotel. AC, TV and hot water was there in the room. The were friendly and provided things on time. The room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was not given at the hotel. The food quality was good. The swimming pool was not there in the hotel. WiFi connection was available in the reception area but not provided in the room. There was no delay in check in and checkout time. I had visited this hotel for relaxation purpose with my family. I had booked the room by online. The reception people were professional. The garden was not available in the hotel. The hotel was located in middle of the city. The climate was very bad. There was no suggestion for this hotel. The destination of the hotel was excellent. The location was good. The hotel was located 7 kilometres far from the airport. The booking and front office was very good. The room and facility was very nice. The activity was not arranged by the hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers.
