The hotel is average. Hotel staff appraise about the best service and other requirement of the customer. He admit and trying to improve and providing best service. Renovation of the hotel is under progress. Our flooding was outside at your places most of the time. Hotel staff behaviour was nice, but they are unable to provide best service due to non availability of required stores.
Hotel Sahara offered us comfortable stay during LTC trip to Andaman Islands at very much affordable price. Being located in hilly-valley area in Dollygunj, near Veer Savarkar airport, Hotel Sahara made our trip truly romantic with well maintained rooms in village like green ambience. Room service was very good and staff were very friendly, while food being simply super. Little shopping area is very nearby for any quick requirements. Last but not the least, while returning from Port Blair, being Hotel Sahara located very near to airport has helped me in catching my flight. I recommend it for everyone with full satisfaction !!!
Good hotel in Doli-Ganj area in Port Blair in the vicinity of a market and you will get pure veg food. Hotel is situated near Airport and having good serving staff, good cook and kitchen chef. Rooms are good with the reasonable price and nearby it's a polytechnic and ATM facilities as well as a super market available.
Nice and simple look not very luxuries but very comfortable and worth food are simple but enough. So enjoy the trip peacefully. Staff are very friendly, guide cum driver is good boy and gives suggestions in time. Hotel is located at tollygunge near to Savarkar international airport.
An Island to be seen was my dream. I got this opportunity this May 2013. I along with my family went Port Blair and stayed at Hotel Sahara. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable to stay. The room was nice and fitted with a TV and AC. It was two beaded room with an extra bed. So we three people stayed there comfortably. Come to the service of the Hotel, it was nice service. The service boys were very cordial and obedient. We liked the morning break fast of the Hotel. Just near by the Hotel, a Bengali small restaurant named Shere-E-Bengal, which had the east menu. Also very tasty and hygienic. Garam garam Roti and Dal, Sabji etc. Everything was available there. The tour in Port Blair was really enchanting and enjoyable. We had been to many places and enjoyed like anything. The journey from Port Blair to Havelock was very nice. The beach of Havelock is a beautiful beach surrounded with dense forest. The three Islands were very enchanting. Over all the trip to Port Blair was very nice and enjoyable. Am again thinking to make another trip in near future and stay again in Hotel Sahara.
It is a budget hotel. Rooms are maintained well and the staff are quite friendly. Room service is good. One mess is being run there. Food is good. No harm to our stomach. Good for a budget traveler. The mess is providing nice break fast. Lunch & dinner during the stay. If we are particular in non-veg the chef is providing the available non-veg items. It is tasty and harmless. Hot water is being supplied. The rooms are being cleaned daily. Bed sheets and pillow covers are being changed once in two days. That's all folks.
The nearness of airport is the most relevant otherwise for whole day you are on move and return after dinner so only breakfast is taken at hotel which is available fresh and of moderate taste.
worst hotel ever seen without room service and unhygenic rooms no cleaning or sweeping for the entire 5 days which stayed very smaller toilet not even a pet animal cant take bath not able to stand in the bathroom and also sorrounding is also very filthy and smells bad and the restaurant also was very bad with unhygenic food with rubber bands found in sambhar (photo attached) water running in taps was found with algae it makes me shiver still and the door mat was torn into pieces no hangers to put your clothes overall i have never seen in my life THE WORST HOTEL as this
