I visited Gangtok It was my Holiday trip. I went there along with my family in the month of May 2017. Hotel located in a beautiful place. Hotel exterior was standard The reception staff was well behaved. They were responsive and helpful. Lift facility was not available in the hotel. The service of the hotel served on time. They responded quickly. They try to provide their best. The hotel room was clean and tidy. They provide all amenity. Restaurant service was there in the hotel. The food was tasty and delicious. There were no any activities in the hotel. Overall it was a standard level hotel.

The location was very near to market and sightseeing places. The appearance was overall good. There was no lift facility . . The front office staff were polite is speaking with us. The service was average. Breakfast was served cold. However they did not delay in serving. We booked deluxe room there was no problem with room. Only bathroom was stinking. We were little uncomfortable. However rooms were clean. All basic things were there in the hotel. There was no phone connectivity. So we were not able to call the staff. We had food in the hotel. We took restaurant service. We had veg food. It was good in taste. We had complimentary breakfast. We should eat what was prepared. I did not participate in any activities. There was no arrangements for playing area. There was no garden in the hotel. No food arrangements for children. I will definitely suggest this hotel to other travelers. They should include lift facility if they want to improve hotel experience. Pick-up and drop facility should be there in the hotel. I did not feel like I missed anything in this hotel during my stay.

I reached this hotel through a private transportation. The destination was extremely good. The location of the hotel was near to the local market and it was 5 minutes of walkable distance. The hotel exterior was maintained. It was elegant. The Front Desk was pleasant. The staff were polite and well behaved. They were informative. There were a travel desk arrangements for sightseeing. I have booked a deluxe room. The room was kept clean and neat. There was a good view through the room window. The service of the hotel was responded on time without fail. The restaurant service was good in this hotel. The food taste was up to the mark and there were no varieties of food. There were no activities and other amenities in this hotel. There was no kid playing area. I would like to suggest the hotel There should be more varieties of food in the restaurant.

The overall appearance of the hotel was good interior look was attractive than exterior look. The front desk of the hotel was very good at service. The overall service in the hotel was excellent as they carried our luggage before check in and during check out. The staff was very helpful. We reserved nonac room it was good and comfortable but the hotel was located in slum area inside the hotel it was posh and if we see the view from the window all we can see was not many impressive houses around which created disturbance the surroundings of was with garbage which was very bad to look at bathroom was little older. The food in the hotel was tasty we had complimentary breakfast chapati it was good. There was no special arrangement for kids and senior citizens. Lift facility was not provided.

The location of the hotel was average as it was at the downwards to the main road at 250 meters distance older people cannot walk. Parking was also not available. There was no pick drop facility. The overall appearance of the hotel was good but not that much attractive. The front desk of the hotel was good during our check in we waited for a long time but they said us to wait most probably hotelier will say to come back again but they were good. They have to improve in quick response to the phone calls. The overall service in the hotel was average as they have to help the guest to drop until the main road as the tourist was not much aware of the location if they improve in that service it will be more comfortable. The room was good but no intercom TV bathroom was clean. The Food in the hotel was average I ordered potato Paratha it was not that good in taste can improve better. About to 750 meters from the hotel towards MGmargh good restaurants with the best food were available. Lift facility was not provided. No special arrangement for senior citizens. Senior citizens cannot survive in the hotel that to reaching hotel itself was very tough as the location was bit trouble. I suggest the hotelier improves in service to the guests while checking in and check out regarding luggage food can be improved.

We reached the location by hired a taxi. There was no pickup and drop facility in that hotel. The interior look of the hotel was admirable. The inside designs and paintings were nice. The front office staff cooperative. The room was average. The staircase provided was risky to the aged people for the climbing up to the first floor. There was only one upper floor provided for kids to play and which was not that much comfort and the drawback for us. They provide complimentary tea and break fast. Overall it was a different experience.
On my Holiday trip I visited Gangtok. I went there along with my family in the month May 2017. I am from Mumbai and it was booked it online through an OYO. The location of the hotel was worst. It was very deep on the hill and it was very tough to get our belongings inside the hotel. The appearance of the hotel was not impressive. It was not looking like a hotel and it was just a lodge. It was on the hill and situated in the middle of the valley. The hotel was located in a very dangerous place. No vehicles will go we could walk and in case if somebody slip means they might fell down from the top of the valley. Actually they should not keep the lodge in such critical place. The Front office staff were least bother about the guests after receiving the payment. The staff were not courteous and they will not be there in the seat. No service in this hotel and they do not have any food service or kid special food nothing was there. They would not help us to bring our luggage inside the hotel at the time of check in but they would help at the time of check out. We have booked totally 5 rooms but they have provided only 4 rooms and another room was service room. We went a group of families and we paid the package cost of 2 Lakhs + complimentary breakfast. The room was not kept clean and neat. We have informed to prepare the food for 12 people but nothing properly went there. They prepared the food only for 3 people. The people were noncooperative. They treated like a hell. Even the drivers did not give us the proper guidelines sightseeing. When we inquired about few things drivers just make a fun of us and they give randomly all bluffing answers. The tourism is very poor in Gangtok. It was not advisable for the senior citizens. The room was very worst. There were no minimum amenities even there was no fan inside the room. The room was very suffocating and we were unable to open the room window due to the drainage smell from the backside of the hotel. The surroundings of this lodge were unhygienic. The bed and the blankets were very dirty. Inside the bathroom there were no towel and the soap. We have to beg them to get all the time. When we asked coffee they will go outside a shop and bring coffee powder then they would start making coffee. Is this the way to provide the good service. The will not provide the food and the water bottles also. When we asked for the plates for a small celebration they were giving the paper plates. Is it the hotel manners. I have booked it through OYO online portal and I have calculated per head Rs3000/- per day and I made the payment as well. This OYO portal is just eating our money and zero service delivering. There were nothing in this hotel no complimentary breakfast and they have served the Alu Parata. The intercom was not working if at all connected also they will not lift the call. When we asked extra chairs they have brought 2 plastic chairs from the restaurant. They have to replace the staff and serve the guests.

The location of the hotel was below average as it was in the city but the hotel was at the end point of the main road and have to walk towards upside atlesat300 meters walk older pupil felt very uncomfortable. There was no pick and drop facility. The overall appearance of the hotel was average it was not much attractive. The front desk of the hotel was poor as they were very irresponsible. The overall service in the hotel was very good at service we paid to the staff. We reserved AC room it was average bedding blankets were average we did not felt much coziness but comfortable as the place was good so we preferred this hotel. The food in the hotel was very good in some recipes and some dishes were bad in taste. Before our Anniversary day we ordered 4 chicken biryani 4 chicken curries it was very terrible in taste the additional food what all we ordered were not up to the mark breakfast was excellent in taste veg was good. We used restaurant service it was all about 3 tables of dining. Better not to order non-veg recipes. There were no other activities in the hotel as it was just 2 floors hotel. We did not notice any WiFi connection. Room service was very good at service helpful We all are about 9 pupils stayed for two days we paid 500 to a service person as he alone did the complete service for us later on after our sightseeing in the city we stayed 2 more days than they did the service more efficiently we thought as we paid money so he serviced well. They were given coupons for the casino at the front desk but until the last day we don't know regarding this coup[ons. The service was up to the mark within the water bottles food luggage and all if we faced any serious issues in the room they did not respond properly. I suggest the hotelier improve in cleanliness inside the room bathroom as when we check in it was not clean we requested them to clean we came on vacation it will not be convenient to the guests do all this reception area should be more friendly and have to be more attentive.

The location was average. The hotel was not near the main road and that was too down so vehicles can't go to the hotel. The appearance was good. The interior of the hotel was better than the exterior. They should improve the exterior of the hotel. The exterior was not attractive. The reception was good. The reception staff was supportive and helpful. They helped us to be comfortable. The service was good. The service staff was cooperative and polite. They provided orders in time. The room was good. I booked the deluxe room. There was no fan in the room. That were summer days and no fan so that was not comfortable. The room was clean washroom was well maintained. The wardrobes were not good. The food was good. The food quality was good tasty and hygienic. There was a restaurant in the hotel. There was one restaurant called Tasty Bite That was too good. We went to the hotel by our own car and parking was not in the hotel so we parked beside the road. There were no any extra facilities in the hotel. There was no kid play area in the hotel. The hotel has only two floors so the lift was not there.
On holiday trip with the family I visited Gangtok in April 2017. We reserved our stay in Hotel Tashi Thendup through online in Goibibo. Gangtok was a very good place. The location of the hotel was good as it was near to the market it was easy to access. We reached the hotel by travel agency vehicle as the hotel was down end a little problem was there at the parking of the hotel. Travel desk was not available. The overall appearance of the hotel was very good as the interior paintings everything was fine. The front office of the hotel was good at service warm welcome with a smile on face. The overall service in the hotel was average as there was a delay at the service in the early morning due to lack of staff while our check out time. The room was excellent clean and all the amenities and toiletries were provided. The food at the hotel was very good we ordered Dale rice Roti vegetable it was tasty and hygienic. There were no activities in the hotel. I refer the hotel to stay for the travelers. There was no kids play area. Lift facility was not there. Everything was fine but a little problem in location.
