The check-in queue was super long and took very long. The queue was not managed and people were breaking the queue and just going and there was almost a fight between passengers for breaking queue and abusive language and there with no indigo staff to manage. When asked why they are not managing the queue the staff simply said "go talk to my manager" . . Boarded us into the transit bus early and we waited in the crowded bus the tarmac for almost 10 mins.
I am a very frequent flyer. But this was my first and last time experience on Airasia. I had a horrendous travel experience. The flight was scheduled to depart at 18:45. However, upon reaching the airport and on check-in, I was told the flight was delayed to 21:15. No convincing reason was given. After security check, again it delayed to 21:35. Upon asking the help desk, and enquiring about the delay, we got a "We don't give a damm" response. The manager arrived at rescue after a crowd of passengers gathered. Unexpectedly, he was very disrespectful to the passengers and even threatened to bar from boarding if we did not stop asking. It was 21:20 still boarding not started. The boarding started at almost 21:40. I can on and on but no use. Overall it was disgusting. Flights can be late. But the way it was handled is not appreciable. I think Airasia should ask for an apology to all the passengers and refund a part of the ticket price. But I think airasia wont give a damm. No problem, we wont give a damm from next time.
We were told to collect the luggage at gate no 1. However it actually arrived at gate no 2. No staff assistance, nor any communication. We were left with our own search on each gate. This is poor internal team communication.
I couldn't check-in through the App and the web. However check-in at the airport was smooth. The flight was on time. The toilet was not clean could be because of the other passengers used earlier. Even after multiple requests we were not attended to, for in-flight service.
Visakhapatnam is located at a distance of 1004 km from Bangalore. Vishakhapatnam is well-connected to Bangalore by rail, road and airways. However, the best way to reach Vishakhapatnam from Bangalore is by air. Some direct flights cover the distance between these two cities in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Some of the airlines that operate regular direct flights in this route include SpiceJet, Kingfisher and jet airways.
