Indigo was selected because the time suited me, the experience by flight to Pune was good as it departed on time and reached on time. The service offered in flight is same for all the operated flights in India. The cost of travelling can also be a factor for selection.
The IndiGo flight to Chandigarh via Delhi was comfortable and the airline staff were very polite and helpful. I chose IndiGo because of the cost. I wish there was a direct flight from Chennai to Chandigarh. I could have reached Chandigarh at around 11. 30 a. M. Instead I reached at 2. 55 p. By the time I reached the city, it was almost 4 p. I could have spent more time with my friends and had lunch with them. I had to spend a fortune at the Delhi airport for lunch. While departing, Chennai airport did not have any signs saying where to check in, where to get the security check done. The terminal was 1 or 2 floors below and there were no signs telling me how to proceed. You know how it is. I am not comfortable asking for directions.
Shocked to see the flight being delayed due to catering services. I guess, taking the passengers to the destination on time safely is more critical than feeding them and making money out of it. Even the reply from customer care lacked empathy. It was nothing less than that of reply from autobot.
Indigo knew that this flight can not land in Chandigarh after 4. The restriction was well known to lay persons except Indigo. They kept sending confirmation text messages just about every day that flight is on time. THERE was no flight when I went to the airport.
