Best way to reach Ludhiana from Delhi
The Rajdhani is the best and the most convenient way to reach Ludhiana City which enables you to not only enjoy your travel but the service of Indian Railway as well. You may not like the food but overall experience is really good!!! My boarding station was NDLS, which is reasonably a very good station as per Indian Standards. It is perhaps one of the biggest railway stations in the country with huge infra and lakhs of passengers travelling daily through it. Airport as well as Normal Metro, both are available from this station and is the most convenient way to reach NDLS. Taxis and autos are also easily available for NDLS. I must appreciate Indian Railways as it has come really a long way and has a good punctuality record for Rajdhanis.

Average travel and requires lots of improvement
Except food, the train is good. The maintenance of coaches needs to be taken care of. The Railway ticket booking system requires lots of improvement and illegal practices removed. The food in the train is bad and at the end of journey when the attendant comes asking for tip it looks very embarrassing. Internet connectivity is off.

Most comfortable and very reliable option
Shatabdi Express is one of the super fast trains of India, as it takes minimum time to arrive at its destination and except junction. It does not stay at any halt more than 120 seconds. Mostly it has very good sitting arrangement along with mineral water bottle, curtains on the windows, charging facility, mini table for provided meals and announcement about passengers welcome and all the stations where train will take a halt. In Shatabdi you get good food according to your travel time. Here you find neat and clean bathrooms too. Shatabdi runs all days in a week, as it is most comfortable, reliable and super-fast neat and clean train for short routes in India. Overall, its a pleasure to travel in Shatabdi Express than Volvo bus or any other medium of transport.
