My experiences with the Jetairways is always good. I have only one suggestion for you that please keep the option of indian food also like samosa, idli, poha, meduvada instead of serving different sandwiches. If jet will added indian food in the meal than it will be the added advantage with us.
I am used to visit Gujarat very often. Most of time I prefer RTS Royal Star bus only. Because compare to all other services from Indore to Gujarat side, this one is the best. Very punctual on time and takes very few halts. The seats are very comfortable and staff behavior is also very nice.
There is no direct flight from Ahmedabad to Indore, Shanti Express seems the best way to travel between the cities and its daily running and convenient travel time makes it worthwhile.
The train leaves Ahmedabad at around 7:40 pm and is scheduled to reach Indore at around 6:30 am. So its basically an overnight journey. With Varodara Station scheduled around 9:40 and Anand Station before it, food can be easily purchased from these stations.
Booked this bus last Friday on 11th July. Boarding points mentioned were wrong. It showed up at 07:30 pm at Star Bazar and I was there at 7 when I called their contact number they told me it was 7:00 pm and advised me to hire an auto and move to their only boarding point. Paid 100 rupees and it dropped me there. Found bus and it was in their depot and had not even started. They used other mini bus to bring people to that point but I did not receive even one call from them. True carelessness.
No proper lighting was there towards the back end of the bus. No charging point was working. Time shown to reach Ujjain was mentioned 02:00 am; however it dropped me at Ujjain at 05:30 in the morning. Seats were also not very comfortable.
A good nice and short flight. Bang on time and really a good one. They are always on time and travelling in Indigo is always punctual. 40 min flight was a quick one. The airline has good in flight facilities and my daughter enjoyed a lot. Service was prompt and all facilities were upto the mark.
Ahmedabad is located at a distance of 406 km from Indore. Ahmedabad is well-connected to Indore by rail, road and airways. However, the best way to reach Ahmedabad from Indore is by road. It takes around 6 hours to cover the distance between these two cities. Some of the important towns en-route are Indore 63 km -> Dhar 88 km -> Jhabua 66 km -> Dahod 70 km -> Godhra 88 km -> Nadiad 63 km -> Ahmedabad. There are many petrol pumps run by IOC, HP and many more at regular intervals all through the way. Many of them offer clean restroom facilities as well.
