One of the Best Beaches in Andaman

Need to purchase boat tickets to reach this island. No plastic Bottles allowed. Plastic bottles are available on rent with a security deposit which will be refunded on return. Need to carry food and cloths for change. The glass bottom boat ride is a must option for those who are not interested in Sea Volkswagen. Excellent Beach with shallow clear water.

A wonderful place for swimming, snorkelling

It's a wonderful place for swimming, snorkelling etc. You have to travel by boat from wandoor jetty for 15 minutes. The moment you reach here you will definitely fall in love with this place. Corals are spectacular. And you get to see them in detail in glass bottom boats. Must visit when you are in Port Blair.

Very beautiful beach

It's a very beautiful beach. Sea looks awesome there. You can see the colour shade of sea water clearly. You can watch Star Fishes and the Corals. The view was awesome there. But travellers should carry their swimming suit. You can't touch the under water animals. And while walking on the corals have to be careful.

Good for snorkelling

Jolly Buoy Island in the southern part of Andaman and Nicobar is a small and beautiful island. The island is a part of Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. The water here is crystal clear and hence is great for snorkelling. Jolly Buoy has to be reached via Wandoor.

Snorkeling at Jolly Buoy

One the smallest island of Andamans. It was a memorable experience visiting Jolly Buoy Island. January, February are the best time to visit this place, full of tourists including foreigner. The place can be reached by an hours boat ride from mainland near National Zoological Park. It's a polythene free island. A must visit if you want to see underwater flora and fauna, variety of fishes including jellyfish. I personally liked snorkeling a lot. Nice and clear blue water with steady under current. Lots of small enclosures are made for changing clothes. No one stay there at night and every one has to return back by 4 pm. You have to carry your own food and snacks as there are no snacks or refreshment outlets. Overall a happy and memorable trip which one would always like to experience.

Jewel of Andaman

Best part of our trip, enjoyed thoroughly, my son did snorkeling, it was fantabulous. He saw live corals & enjoyed well, we did glass bottom boat ride & it was great experience. We recommend to do both Snorkeling & Glass bottom boat ride, because both sites shows different fishes and corals.

Never to miss this place of interesting activities

This is invariably one of the best locations of Andaman. Serene crystal clear waters, white sand, perfectly clean. Highly maintained with wonderful views of the blue waters of the sea and distant islands make this spot a must visit in your itinerary. The best place for snorkeling and glass bottom boating. You can truly enjoy the beautiful aquatic habitat all around like corals and colourful sea fishes. The people taking the visitors by boat were very friendly too. Overall those few hours were the best part of my Andaman trip. Don't miss Jolly Buoy if you are planning a trip to Andaman.
