Awesome Tree

This Kalpavriksha tree is in Joshimath and one must visit. Only problem is that one has to climb up the road. This tree is supposed to be 2500 years old. It is believed that wish desired here is fulfilled. Inside the temple is Shiva Linga and during Puja milk/water is offered that flows out of the temple through drain. It is believed that one should not cross the drain while fluid is flowing through it (that is offered to Lord Shiva) and hence one is not supposed to do parikrama of the temple and should return back from drain location. One problem outside the temple is that the road stretch near the temple (small stretch) is very rough and one may find difficulty in walking bare foot.

Nice place to visit in Joshimath, wonderful experience

It was quite nice and wonderful experience. There is a temple inside the premises and the Kalpvriksha is said to be the tree which comes out from the Samudra Manthan.
