Kalvari Mount

One of the most beautiful places I have visited. Breath taking view. The best time to visit is early morning. The whole place will be covered in fog. You can simply sit here for as long as you want.

The most beautiful place which I ever seen

It's a place where Christians conduct "Way of the Cross" in reminiscence of the Jesus's way to Calvary Mount. 14 crosses were installed on a small mountain. It's beside the Idukki Reservoir. You could enjoy marvelous beauty of Idukki reservoir from there. The site of the reservoir lake with a number of small islands on it is really beautiful. Its cool climate there. Fog will be there, we reached there at 6. 30 in the morning and the view was really wonderful. Few cottages to sit and relax are also there. It's not very well developed. Shops etc are not there.

Best to relax

One of the best place to relax, you can enjoy the scenic nature, apart from that there are facilities available for trekking, if you are interested you can try this. But prior permission is required and also a small fee to be paid.
