View of Kanchenjunga

When you say 'views' you must be meaning views of Kanchenjunga snow peaks, right? I can hear you saying 'Of Course'. Well if that's the case, then let's first start talking about the best time in the year to get such great views. Because the treasure peaks do not always show up and that too whenever you like them to.

It's a sight to behold, a once in a lifetime experience. The sunlight peaks during sunrise are a treat to the eye. There are many viewing points across the town and back according to the season on these short trips.

Amazing scenario behind Kanchenjunga

To see the sunrise behind the Kanchenjunga was the amazing scenario. We visited the place a very early morning and saw the beautiful and memorable scenario that we never saw before. The weather was very cold and airy, needed some warm dresses. Overall the beauty of Kanchenjunga was very nice.

The Beauty Queen

Kanchunjunga is the world's third highest mountain, when a part of sunlight fall on the mountain then it looks like nothing less then golden hill. Thats why it is called as queen. The scene can not be described in words you have to be there to see the magical beauty of the scene. It is a must must must.

Not to miss it

This is one of the best sights in Darjeeling, the view of Kanchenjunga from Tiger Hill as the sun rises, you can see white snow caps of Kanchenjunga throughout the day but the mountain turns golden for sometime during the sunrise as the sun rises from east. It's a heavenly sight, you need to start atleast 2 hrs before sunrise time since Tiger Hill is situated little far, don't miss it.

Nature at its best

Kanchenjunga looks majestic and awe inspiring as one views it from the distance. On a clear day, you can actually see the snow covered peak of the Kanchenjunga and admire the natural beauty. The weather can play havoc with low clouds obstructing view at the most inopportune moment so make sure you have your cameras ready for the click whenever you get a glimpse. Basking in the sun, the mountain really looks beautiful, if a tad dangerous!

Pure elegance

The majestic views of the Kanchenjunga Peaks are the reason why most people come to Darjeeling. The peaks are best visible during the winter season. During monsoon the region remains completely shrouded in clouds. The peaks change colour as the sun changes its position throughout the day.

A charming view of Kanchenjunga

The charming view of Kanchenjunga is more beautiful from Batasia Loop than Tiger Hills. From Batasia Loop we see the mind capturing scene of Kanchenjunga, Indo China border, Indo Nepal border etc. At Tiger Hills, the view is colourful. The Kanchenjunga Peaks glitter with yellow, light red colour from the rays of sun before it's rise, a magnificent view
