No proper maintenance to enjoy

You have to walk down very deep and at the view point there is no proper place and space to enjoy the falls. It is very crowded and a lot of littre, the falls may be more attractive during monsoon.

Decent View

People around Yercaud claim this to be the best viewpoint in and around Yercaud. We need to walk around half a kilometer on mud road to reach this view point. Nice and decent view.

Excellent view point and worth visiting

This is the best view point available on Yercaud. From here one can see the Northwest slope view of the Yercaud Hills. Mettur Dam is also visible via a telescope. You have to stop by at Karadiyur Village Junction and walk some distance but the path to the view point and the view point both are worth.

By far the best attraction of Yercaud

We couldn't find any interesting attraction until we visited this place. Maybe the lack of alternatives helped. Views are great, needs a bit of a walk to reach this place. Can easily spend close to an hour at this place. People have spoilt the place with graffities though.

Amazing view but need efforts

This place is 10 kms approx far from the main Yercaud Town. The path to reach this place is not so good, while struggling to reach this place we have lot of expectations but telling you don't keep so much expectations because if we compare our efforts and results we feel disappointed. So I recommend not to go this place.

Amazing point, uneven mud path

About 9 Kms from the Yercaud town is Karaiyur village. There is a viewpoint constructed by the forest department near Karadiyur village. A walk of about 30 minutes is required to reach the viewpoint and one has to walk on uneven mud path. But it is worth the trouble since the view from view point is amazing and photographers will really love this place.

No water after long walk

No water after long walk and no place to sit and rest. No facilities or help from the forest department too. And the road also not good to go there. we travelled around 30 mins from Yercaud and reach there. We return back with very tired from that place.

A poorly arranged view point

Beautiful view after undergoing lot of difficulty in reaching the point. No name board in the important road crossing. Last 1/2 km you have to walk in slushy &muddy which looked eternal. Tourist department can look into this.
