Beautiful Kates point

Though our bus did not go completely near the point, we all wanted to go to the point and see it .. When we started walking we saw a milestone of 2kms and we had to walk so much. But when we saw the point, the view from there was breath taking you could see the river and dam. Beautiful hills surrounding you from all the sides, your voicr echo icing through the mountains. Its just heavenly. Should definitely visit this point.

A point to view the valley in three different angles

Kate's Point is named after the daughter of the British Governor Sir John Malcolm. It has three different angles to see the valley, the view of River Krishna from top is astonishing.

A good place to spend some decent time

There are amazing view of valley from this point. On one side there was view of river flowing between the mountains and on other side there was a view of the waterfall. There was another point from where you can see a rock formation which looks like an Elephant Head. Actually there was green bush which was grown on the rock which seems like an Eye, so it made it look like Elephant Head. The view point are near the parking lot hence you don't have to walk much.

Breathtaking view

This point has breathtaking view, only if you have a clear sky. So choose your trip timing carefully. We enjoyed it as no rain anywhere. Photos are amazing.

Sights are amazing

This is one of the few points of sightseeing. Its basically on top of the hills with valleys surrounding. Views are just amazing. It feels like we are in the clouds during the sunset.
