Hotel location was good and conveniently traced. The hotel was not a 5 star hotel. The services provided were bad. The rooms were not clean. The hotel was not up to the mark. The hotel should maintain their standard. The appearance of the hotel was okay. The maintenance was bad. The food was good in terms of quality and quantity wise. The oral service was not so good, like room service was late, etc. In the hotel activities like indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool and gym was there, but I did not have time for them. The trip was personal trip. The stay was not value for money. I would not recommend this hotel only they improve their service. There was not delay in check-in and check-out time. The problem was regarding the services and inside ambience.
I visited Hyderabad to spend some holidays with family. Pool was poor and not usable. Bed was good. Staff was not cooperative but their head was good, polite and cooperative. TV was good with cable connection. Room services were below average. Rooms, hotel and office look like photographs on line. Travellers to Hyderabad must try veg. And non-veg biryani at Paradise restaurant in Sikendrabad. These are really best food available and without these Hyderabad trip can not be completed. Food in Katriya hotel(lunch&dinner) is very expensive but buffet breakfast offered by them is excellent and includes many varieties and it was really a good experience. Laundry service of hotel is good. Hotel is centrally located and Hussain Sagar lake is only at walking distance. All sorts of conveyance to any destinations are available.
Stayed mid June 2015. Check-in was fine. Had booked from 12 noon previous noon and for 2 days. Arrived next day at around 9 am, and train to board next day at 9 pm. So had booked for 2 days but was using only for less than a day and a half. The reception told me he would help by charging for a day and half, that was a wow. Oh really? Wait until the end The first day went busy at work but the problems start on day 2. The telephone line goes dead, the housekeeping tries to rectify but to no avail. They decided to shift the room, and lo and behold the tel line is dead there as well. So decided to stay put and bear the issue. Although had a lot of work that afternoon from the room, could not order lunch. Decided to checkout at 7 pm as advised by the reception Surprise. There's no one and half day offer because I had booked through Goibibo. Now the story is, Goibibo pays the hotel full money, but me as customer will not get the refund of half day as it is not in their policy. Sob story. Was waiting for my taxi and it didn't seem to come. Another surprise, the hotel does not have a travel desk, so no complementary drop. Sorry no drop to the station either. In between all this, when I went in for breakfast, there was this waiter who kept asking for breakfast coupon, which the reception never gave me. I dared to say I have already given my room number to the floor incharge, probably he was just asked to keep off me after that. Overall, not a pleasant experience. Next time, maybe, maybe not.
The hotel had great infrastructure, service and rooms when I used to stay there regularly- almost twice a month till 2011-12. However, this time the rooms and lobby were still the same, but some minor irritants were there constantly. The staff had to be reminded twice for things included in package. In hotel of that size, not even a single beer was chilled. One had to ask for basics like soap and towel. And responsiveness of staff was really poor. I did not have a good experience this time except the fact that the rooms were good in terms of size and comfort. View from roof top dining was good. Room Tip is Deluxe room, though basic for the hotel is quite good enough for business travel
A very decent Hotel, infrastructure was good. Food was tasty for different tourists with a variety of cuisines and a different restaurant ambience. I enjoyed dinner at Sky Grill. It's very peaceful with an open top terrace, tidy and clean spacious rooms. Great staff. Overall, it was a great experience. I stayed here for 3 days on a personal trip and enjoyed a lot during the stay.
