Enjoying the east morning with the wild land of animals

Home for wild animals, chance to visit the animals in the real Kaziranga forest with the ride in the jeep called jeep safari. There is a rhino visit with the help of an elephant called elephant ride. Nice view and nice amazing safari with the little involvement in nature.

Awesome place for nature lovers in the wild

This is one of the best Reserve forests in India. You can see the 1 horn rhinos, and wild animals in abundance. Homestays are available, prefer to get it booked before hand. Elephant safari and Jeep safari's are there. For Jeep safari, prefer to go in group to save money.

Memorable experiance at the park

Once upon a time there was a boy named "Kazi" from the Karbi tribe and a girl named "Ranga" from a nearby village. They fell in love, but their relationship was not accepted from both families. So they had decided to lost in the jungle. After that the couple disappeared in the jungle and never to be seen again. The jungle is named after "Kazi" & "Ranga", Kaziranga. We visited this forest in the month of February in 2016 and it is a lifetime experience for us with a lot of worthy memories. The park holds the largest population of the great one horned rhinoceroses, Asiatic wild water buffalo, Asiatic elephant and eastern swamp deer. It is also home for hog deer, sambar deer, gaur, wild boar and a lot of migratory birds, water birds. It has the highest density of tigers. Great Indian hornbill, Ganges dolphin and Hoolock gibbon (the only ape of India) is found here. The park has numerous water bodies including Brahmaputra river.During our this trip to Kaziranga we realised the importance of a guide in a national park. Our guide Prafulla is a good and knowledgeable person. He made our trip from good to awesome. I suggest you when you plans for a trip to Kaziranga National Park choose a good guide for Jeep safaris, because a guide plays major role during safaris.

Beautiful landscape with picturesque surroundings

One of the best forest in India with presence of endangered single Horn Rhinos and Elephants. Very unique place to sight migratory birds all over the park in Winter. Serene landscapes along banks of River Brahmaputra.

Elephant ride is good

The Elephant ride is highly recommended as it takes you close to the animals and Rhinos, Deer, Wild Elephants are easily sighted, but Tigers is a rarity. Elders and children can easily take this ride, but it needs to be booked in advance either through the hotel or travel agent especially during the tourist season.Carry a Binocular for a good view and in Winters dress suitably. Be in time, as the check-in process by the forest department is sometimes slow. Do not talk too much as the animals get disturbed. Children should be briefed beforehand as to what they should keep a lookout for. Birds are also sighted and a prior knowledge of what to expect may help. There is jeep ride as well but if you have done the Elephant ride prior to it then it's not recommended. Travel light and wear clothes with earthy colours.

Simply beautiful

One of the best National Parks of the country. The main attraction for the tourist in this Park is One Horned Rhino, which is not available anywhere in the world naturally. The scenic beauty and the habitant animals surely invite every tourist several times to this famous National Park.

Different landscape

You have a choice of taking elephant or jeep safari. You can watch rhinos and deers and Sambar in plenty but you really don't see tigers. There are some good hotels in Kaziranga where you can enjoy your stay.

Best view in North East

Worth seeing, actually I visited southern part and also central part of the forest by Jeep safari. I found the wild elephants and hippos only at the central part worth watch when compared to southern part.

One horn Rhino to be seen

There are lots of one horn Rhino available to see inside also outside of the forest. The national park opens from 1st November. Arrangement of jeep safari and elephant safari is too good.
