Hotel Review

Posted 31 May, 2016

I had visited this hotel with my family for personal trip. The behaviour of hotel staff's was good. The room price was reasonable because I was satisfied about hotel service. The best part of the hotel was service. There was no problem in check in and checkout. All amenities were available in the room. The complimentary breakfast was provided by the hotel. Wi-Fi service was available in the room.

Pleasant stay and great hospitality

Posted 13 Jun, 2015

Six friends got together at Nagpur and went to Pench with only one hope spot and shoot (obviously with camera) a tiger. So, someone told me once tigers come out to bathe in summer so its easy to spot in summer. We went there in May 30th 2015. The hotel live up to what a forest lover would expect from MP Tourism. I am saying it aloud again that MP Tourism resorts are the best value for money in Indian forests The buffet lunch and dinner was just something lot more than great and obviously how can I forget the hospitality of the staff. The forest seemed a little less managed than other MP Forests like Kanha, Bandhavgarh etc. But anyway we got to see the biggest tiger of Pench and also the tigress queen of Pench Collar Wali and her cubs, who supposedly broke all the records of tiger littering in India Overall, anybody who is heading to Pench, I would suggest them to get a room as soon as possible at Kipling's Court. Otherwise either you will have to create a hole in your pocket or you have to come back from Pench with a not so satisfying stay experience.

Best family wildlife resort among Pench

Posted 22 Apr, 2015

Kipling's Court has the best location for a visit to Pench Tiger Reserve. The cottages are well equipped and efficiently maintained by Madhya Pradesh Tourism. We stayed this property from 13th April to 15th April 2015 for two nights. Property was booked by North east travels Kolkata. We choose Two / three property but they suggested to stay at Kipling court and believe me it is the numerous and very good experience. One of the top notch wildlife resort They have three category of rooms- AC deluxe, AC standard and cooled rooms and a dormitory. We stayed at standard AC rooms. (Room no 20) which are jungle facing. In the resort all rooms are jungle facing and all rooms attached a small veranda. The rates includes breakfast lunch evening tea and dinner. We have two child aged 8 and 9 years. They charged only food cost 1000 Rs per day per child. Room is spacious for family of two with a child. You can add extra bed the cost is Rs 1590 with all meals. First time I have seen in a government run hotel 4 pillow in a bed for two people. All the pillow cover & bed linen cover neat and clean related to pug mark print or jungle print which you feel like jungle inside the room. In the room there is a small fridge and you can keep your mineral water, medicine and fruit juice. They provide water and canned juice but charged extra and cost is higher relative to market. Tea coffee maker also available in the room and tea coffee bags are adequate Toilets are neat and clean. Hot and cold running water available 24x7. Bathroom grooming kit also adequate. Rooms and bathroom were properly cleaned every day As regards the facilities, it had a Swimming pool, gym, open air badminton court, children play area. Although the gym was small it had decent amount of free weights, a tread mill and a multi gym machine to give a good workout option. A small bar and souvenir shop was also available. There is WiFi, but the signal low from the room but from dinning room it is okay. In the evening wildlife show at conference hall also enjoyable. The food was buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spread was wide and it includes veg and non veg. Quality of the food served was pretty good and tasty. In the snacks we tried Chicken Manchurian, Chicken Pokora with drinks. Chicken Manchurian was very tasty AND Pokora Manager very polite and all the ground staff including kitchen staff also. Staff Ramji was very helpful and very attentive Our safari arranged by Kolkata based Travel agents. They provide best guide and gypsy driver. We saw Leopards and Tigers. The landscape is the best Among any forest of India Advice are like no need to book AC rooms from end November to February & March. Air cooled rooms are sufficient. Room 5-6-7 are nearest to swimming pool, rooms 18-19-20 nearest to dinning area. In case you have child within age 10 and not food don't go for buffet. Order from menu Hence the whole thing went very well and convenient. Would look forward to visiting once again.

Best location, lacks little service

Posted 22 Jan, 2015

In general government runs this hotels and resorts lack a lot on service, though as usual they have the best location in town. For Kipling, the location obviously is one of the best, just on the edge of the core area, but the service is also somewhat superior to its contemporaries, though not comparable to top ranked resorts . The information flow is pretty slow and people are helpful only if you ask for but they will definitely respond for sure. The surprise was that all the three meals were included in the daily rate as this was nowhere mentioned while booking. Sighting a tiger on the first day itself also made our visit worthwhile !!

Good location, good service and courteous staff

Posted 2 Nov, 2014

According to me this hotel is very nice hotel which will fit in your budget. It has the best rooms among all the hotels in the locality. Good services and it also offers a good and wide range of good food. No doubt that it is value for money. The rooms were nice though little less spacious, still it had all the basic amenities. The service were prompt and the staff out there are courteous too. Had a nice stay there. Thanks Kipling's Court.

Hihgly appreciable hotel

Posted 14 Apr, 2014

It was Maharashtra Government Tourism hotel. I stayed for two days in this hotel. I traveled with my family. Cottage-type rooms were available. Outside view was nice from the hotel. Rooms were well maintained, neat and tidy. TV, geyser all basic facilities were there in the rooms. I booked single cottage room and it was worth money paid. Food was tasty. Veg and non-veg all varieties were available. Food was hygienic and felt like home-made food only. Staff was friendly. Some games were available for children’s and swimming was available in activities. Location was very nice. Appearance wise hotel fully furnished and well maintained. Booking and front office was cooperative and helpful. Pench place is good for visit just forest area was available for sightseeing. This hotel is highly recommendable and value for money hotel.

They have rooms overlooking the Jungle

Posted 9 May, 2013

Name after Rudyard Kipling, Th Kiplings Court is one budget destination of MPSTDC at the very gate of Pench Tiger National park. It has good cottages and rooms overlooking the JUNGLE. An encounter with Baghira of Jungle Book can even be had from the balcony of the Hotel. A swiming pool, a small library , good bar, and friendly services of MPT staff at Kiplings Court is worth remembering. Meals , food and little of everything fills up memory basket.
