Walking here is nice in the evening

Well maintained lake front with jogging track. Walk here and you will feel good about yourself. Do visit while in Jamnagar. Morning entry is free for walking and evening one has to pay around Rs. 10. But its worth it.

Worth seen

Lakhotia lake is very beautiful & scenic place. It was pleasure to visit it during evening. We were not able to see the laser show because of it's inconvenient timings. Coloured fountain was best. There are 9 gates. Tickets were available on each window. 10 per head was the entry fee

A Lake in Middle of City

Lakhota Lake is also known due to Lakhota Palace in it. Although the Lake is in middle of City, thousands of migratory birds come here in every winter. Around the lake there are some park, a small zoo and a night market of vegetables. You can hire a paddle boat for boating in lake. Nice place of gathering people in evening. A nice visit.

Better place to visit in Jamnagar

I have visited Lakhota Talav in evening at 5. 00 pm. For my surprise I have started seeing group of birds flying in the evening by making patterns over the lake which continued for almost an hour. It was worth seeing that awesome view. Few birds are at leading the group with triangular pattern and are going spiral some ways. It's quite hard to explain but whenever you go to Jamnagar you must visit Lakhota Talav. There is also nearby temple known as Bala Hanuman Temple which has a record of unbroken arti and dhun for many years.
