Neat and well maintained

Great structure well maintained, expansive scenic view of the interior as well as exterior. Decorum of maintaining silence very unique and much required for the high testosterone north Indians esp Delhiites.

Visit here for feel of peacefulness

Beautiful architecture . It is so clean, once you visit inside. One has to be quiet and enjoy the peace. It was a time when lotus temple was seen from very far due to less constructions and pollution but now this is not the case. You can visit here enjoy street food snacks outside this place, not that hygienic but do give it a try once .

Peace, architecture and quiet

Lotus temple is a magnificent structure. If you are visiting Delhi you must visit this place of Bahai faith. In side the temple there are only benches where you can feel inner peace by just sitting quiet. It is very impressive. Lovely site with some nice gardens and a peaceful location sitting within the giant lotus

Glimpse into Bahai culture- Lotus Temple

Get a glimpse into the Bahai community and culture with this Wonderful temple. Shaped in the form of a lotus, it's beautiful and a must go in Delhi. The hall inside where one can sit and meditate is rather serene, and so are the pools of water just outside the temple. The gardens are also beautiful and full of blossom

Lotis temple

The temple is built of Greek white marble in the shape of Lotus flower. Lotus was chosen as the symbol as it was common to religions like Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. The structure for the House of Worship in New Delhi is composed of 27 freestanding marble-made "petals" organized in bunches of three to form nine sides.

A different Spiritual Place

Lotus temple symbolize BAHAI religion. The temple covers a big area with greenery around. You will not find any idol there but you will find a very peaceful environment there. Be there for 15 min in peace and you will feel refreshing.

All religious are welcome

The Lotus Temple is a House of Worship. Notable for its flower like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. A great experience, gazing at the beautiful architecture and meditating inside the peaceful pillar less temple dome. The landscaping throughout the temple complex is very beautiful and maintained quite nicely. For people visiting the temple in groups, they need to enter via Gate 2, a little distance from main Gate. Entry within the temple itself is from another side entrance. The temple is located close to Kalkaji Metro Station, right opp the famed Kalkaji temple.Advisory: During April - September it can be very hot, and since you have to walk quite a lot, visitors should go there in early mornings or in the evenings during this period. The temple is closed to the public on Mondays ..Must visit ..!
