Maasani Amman Thirukoil is a Lord Gowrishankarar Temple which is located at BG Farm in Anamalai. The main deity at this temple is Goddess Gowriamman and the idol was found in 1995 during ploughing. It is believed that this statue dates back to Chola period. Ganapathi Stapathi erected a new temple in 2004 to worship this statue.

Local inhabitants also believe that during the rule of King Naanan, a girl who tried to eat mango from the special mango tree in the garden was sentenced to death. The local villagers built a statue on the graveyard of this girl and started worshipping it by the name of Maasani.
