Nature at its best, pure joy !!!

Went on a Sunday with my family, very crowded. Cleanliness is an issue in this place. Except that you can definitely enjoy the nature. Feel the fresh air, shower in the heart of Cauvery. A cool place to hangout if you want to take long showers.

An umbrella of Madikeri

A beautiful place situated on the top, which is the starting point of the Maa Kaveri River. There is a special viewpoint on some height, from where we can see complete landscape of Coorg and surrounding area. A busy holy place. You will find family coming for puja and prayer. Travelling 56 kms from Madikeri bus stand through Coffee plant and other green small villages is amazing.

Most beautiful scenic view

It's actually a place from where Kaveri River originates. Located at around 40 kms from Madikeri, this place is amazing and must visit. You will have to climb around 300 steps to reach at the top and the view from there is breathtaking. High speed wind, a range of mountains, clear sky and Kerala view.Must visit.

Clean and this is the place to remember for long time - Must see

Visited in the late afternoon 4PM, it was misty and drizzling a bit. Walking up-to the Mottai-Betta was challenging and interesting. Looking from the top was amazing and climate was excellent.

The Mist was awesome

We reached this place around 11am in the morning. But what we heard was the place will be with mist only during the early morning but for our luck as it was Rainy season. The time we went there the place was fully surrounded with mist and the climate was ultimate.

Awesome place

It is situated in Madikeri district. It is an awesome place surrounded by greeneries and hills. It is suitable to go at early morning. The breeze warmth welcomes us in a great manner. The climbing of upside hill is very thrilling and the birth place of Cauvery is very sacred. When we reach top of hill we can feel the clouds passing on us. But avoid travelling in rainy season.

Best place in Madikeri

This is an awesome and must visit place near Madikeri. The beauty of this place increases if you go during the monsoon season. Small temples for Ganesh and Shiva are also there.
