Unique feature in this temple is the three Pushkarini

I visited this pilgrimage unexpectedly on my way to Nandyala, it is just 19 kms away from Nandyal. The unique feature in this temple is the three Pushkarini (water pools) in the temple premises with crystal clear water and uninterrupted flow irrespective of season. If we want we can take a holy dip in the water pools before entering for darshan, before entering into the garbhagudi males are asked to remove their shirts for offering puja. On Shivaratri many rituals are held, the temple timings are 5. 30AM to 8. 30 PM. If we buy Rs. 100 ticket then we will be allowed to enter inside the temple. We spent around 1 hour in going around this temple, don't forget to take prasadam at exit gates. Finally we had a great experience.

The temple is completely business oriented

When we visited that temple they charged 5 Rs for shoes but the cameras and mobiles are not allowed inside the temple. If we want to preserve those outside we need to pay some amount for those also, waste of time.

Crystal clear water from the mouth of Nandhi

The temple is very famous, this temple is related to olden days when the kings rule the village. It has three konnaru one is inside the temple and the remaining two at the outside of the temple, one is left and one at right side. No one have found the origin of the water is coming in to the konnaru. The water so clear that even a coin dropped could be seen. That much of clearly water is available there, the water comes from Nandi mouth to the sump.
