Crocodile alley homing to rare birds species too

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is famous for its fort & tiger sighting at the most prestige Rajbagh Lake. It is said that the ruler of Rajbagh Lake is ruler of the whole Tiger Reserve. But, Malik Talao is no less by any means. This lake is situated in the Zone 4 of the reserve. Whilst on the trail in Zone 4 along the periphery of this lake we saw alligators lying at the edges along with deers, sambhars, langurs & the famous tree pie bird. Also, passing around this maalik talav, the rare species of birds like white throat ed kingfisher, Long Beaked Kingfisher, indian cormorant & pond **** was worth a while with beautiful scenic landscape behind.
