Totally waste of money, property under construction swimming pool not working no WiFi in room everything chargeable, average quality of breakfast, inadequate staff, avoid or postpone your trip unless you can't, Have booked for 2 days but just spent one day and came back
History, heritage and an immortal love story in the lap of nature. This is the essence of The trip to mandu. Grand Fort, huge tombs luxury palace with an under line current of the love story of a hindu Rani Roopmati with a Muslim king Baajbahadur write a divine chapter of unity in diversity in history of India. Here you will have privilege to see the rarest idol of lord Ram. Yes it is rarest because in an old temple near bus stand of mandu, you will find the idol of lord Ram with four hands. It makes the place worth seeing. Love, forts, palaces, temples among natural beauty make mandu magical. Come here to feel it.
The hotel is in great location, with a large lake just next to it and a lakeside property, with quite a limited number of rooms. Booking has to be done at least months prior to the visit or else with limited rooms you won't find any vacant. Food is okay, very limited option, the one on the menu will not be provided, since it's a hill station they have limited food availability. It's just good for a day.
The Malwa Resort has a great location near the lake in Mandu. It provides deluxe & luxury rooms and cottages. The lake side cottages can be a good option for a beautiful view. The place is calm. They do need a maintenance to be done with respect to rooms. The food at the restaurant is good but the service is expected to be better. Overall a great option to stay in Mandu.
Very good location and view. Breakfast was not good. Menu was big but everything was cold. There were very few waiters that created a lot of wait time. Lunch was good but again the serving time was long. AC Suite that we took was newly built and had the best location in resort. It was the room with window facing the Lake. So, it is a beautiful view whenever we look out. Also, in night they arrange for fire to keep you warm. So, you can just have chairs outside the room, facing the Lake and beauty around, sit in open sky and enjoy your time with the loved ones.
The location of property is unmatchable but unfortunately the M P tourism is not taking very good care of it. Rooms look great from the outside but your excitement vanishes once you get inside. Mouldy walls. Dirty bed sheets. Pool was full of dirt and you will fear that you'll catch infection. Overall a very overpriced hotel but there is no other better option available.
The location of the hotel was easy to approach. The surrounding of the hotel was clean and beautiful. The staffs at the hotel were frank. The room allotted to me was clean and tidy. All the amenities were in working condition. The food was tasty and the price was affordable. The activities were not conducted by the hotel. The overall stay at the hotel was memorable. The view from my room was very nice.
The visit to this hotel was along with my family for relaxation trip on September 2013. The appearance of the hotel was also very good and clean. The location of the hotel was very good and convenient to reach. There was no delay while check in check out services in the hotel. The room allotted in the hotel was spacious and clean with amenities provided. The lunch taken at the hotel was limited in south Indian dishes but good at taste. The staff services were good at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.
The hotel was basic with its facilities. The food was good and hygienic. The room size was good and the staff was cooperative and wellhead. It was good value for money although there was not a lot of variety. Recommended for overnight stay. In the monsoon season there could be a lot of mosquitoes, so please beware. Also please get your own toiletries. The view of sun rising in the valley is good. The cottages are well built and AC with all the facilities and are good for overnight stay.
Malwa Resort, Mandu is for good stay there in Mandu. Hotel was beautiful, clean and mannered. Staff is helpful. Food and amenities is good. Mandu is historically a great to visit, Jahaj quarter, Baz Bahadur's Palace are must visit many more small historical monuments were there, we visited in February 2015 but romantic couples should visit in rainy or winter season.
Recently I got a chance to travel in the beautiful mountain range and I travelled in the best holiday destination of Nimar-Malwa. I travelled to Mandu, We had a wedding function to attend. The Malwa Resort was given the opportunity to host the beautiful ceremony. And I am very glad to say that they (Malwa resort) proved here supremacy. On a hill station where you expect only a simple room, We received a royal treatment in the tour. The resort fulfilled all the possible which they promised The room had some facilities which moved me the most- Small refrigerator where provided with all branded cool drinks. A branded Godrej security digital locking system was provided for all our important assets The evening time was the peak time, the service offered by the staff was remarkable, Even they helped us in our planning which is not included in hotel work. The hotel management was humble and very polite and helpful. The resort is also cost effective, it provides a royal treatment in affordable price Suggestion- Hotel can be more improved and would be the best of the region if it takes the control on he mosquito in it's compound.
The overall stay was very good. The location of the hotel was quite far away from the main city. It was pleasant location. The staff behaviour was very professional and friendly. They were ready to help any time. The appearance of the hotel was very decent and well maintained. The room was neat and clean. I didn't get any view from the room. The food was good in quality. I ordered for Indian food it was a normal meal. They had no indoor and outdoor game, swimming pool, gym activities. They were provided sightseeing facility and I did not prefer. The suggestion for the improvement of the hotel was to maintain the exterior needs to be maintained. The destination was very good and good relaxation trip with friends. I would recommend to other customers too.
Location was comfortable, but I don't know how far it is from public transport points since I went in my own car. The appearance was pretty good. Staff was friendly and professional. Service provided was efficient. Ambience was also pretty good. Rooms were spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. Pillows, bed sheet, blankets were all clean. AC, TV were working fine, they geyser wasn't and I complained about it, they fixed it, good view from the room as well. We ate food in the hotel, good veg variety and quality was available. Activities were available. Didn't check for sightseeing options through the hotel.
It was a good hotel. Location of the hotel was inconvenient. My stay over there was just enjoyable. Room was spacious, well maintained and also neat and clean. Hotel appearance both inside and outside is very good. All basic amenities were provided. Staff were cooperative and service was up to the mark. My best part was everything was good. Especially, they served fresh food always. Food was very good in taste and also good quality. No delay in check in and checkout process. They organized sightseeing trips. The hotel is definitely value for the money. This hotel is a recommendable one for others.
