Not worth the money

It is said to be most equipped marine aquarium in India and we had expectations while we went. The tickets were priced on the higher side too but we were disappointed, there are not many specimen. It was nothing outstanding and was not worth the money.

Marine and fresh water fish tanks

There are a number of Marine and fresh water tanks with fishes. The Marine Aquarium and Research Centre is located between Old Digha and New Digha. Any auto rickshaw or motor van or bus will drop you there. It is very close to New Digha railway station.

Nothing great or special about the place!

There are a very few species inside the aquarium. Lighting is poor. There is a garden outside which could have been better. Camera is not allowed inside the aquarium.
