I had visited the hotel with my friends for personal visit. The best part of the hotel was the location. I would recommend this hotel for the upcoming travellers. The food served inside the hotel was not good. Wi-Fi facility was not provided inside the hotel. The room allotted was clean and well maintained.

Andaman is great place with blue sea and its culture, last October we travel Andaman and Havelock island. We stayed this hotel for 2 night, this hotel situated in middle point of all attractive destination of Port Blair and also walkable distance from jetty. They help us to booked boat for Havelock Island. Rooms are neat and clean all staff and manager are wildcatted and gentle also efficient. Check-in and out all are just hassle free. We were pleased with their hospitality and helpfulness.
I stayed at Marine View in last week of Nov. I generally find one or two good things about hotel but I could not for this hotel. If someone really insists I would say good thing is it is near Phoenix bay jetty from where ferry for Havelock starts We had booked room for 2 nights including Dinner (due to mess up from Yatra, we had to take up the dinner as well) 1) Escalator/lift was out of order 2) We were allotted room on first floor. Room had absolutely no window view. Window was facing another construction and there is absolutely no space between both buildings. So seeing day light was out of the question. Room was damp and poorly maintained. Due to dampness sheets smell bad within a day of change 3) Rooms were not cleaned properly. I saw used coke bottles below my bed when I checked in 4) In room we had company of Mosquitoes, cockroach and Lizard. I understand they were there due to dampness in the room 5) They do not clean your room unless you submit keys in the morning before going out. And if you don't know this so called universal rule, rooms will stay dirty. When we asked them to quickly clean in the evening they mentioned it is not possible as housekeeping is not available in the evening. They hesitated even to just clean it with broom (room had lots of sand due to out visit to the beach). When I said give me broom I will clean it then they sent one guy to clean the room 6) First day food was disaster. We were served Paneer butter masala and mixed veg. It lacked nearly everything including salt, spices and masalas. Second day food was okay as we didn't expect anything from them 7) 1st day breakfast was Idli chutney, bread butter/jam. Bread, Idli were completely cold. Second day we were served Puri sabji and bread butter/jam. It was okay. Coffee is as good as water so please don't expect anything great 8) Staff in the restaurant is courteous and helpful but they really lack knowledge about how to manage food like when to heat food, when to serve food, etc I have stayed in other hotels in Port Blair. I know things go wrong sometimes but in this case I think people managing the place don't want to improve Hope it helps.
I was visiting Andamans from June 20 - June 28 with my family (group of 11 people), and we used Hotel Marine View as a stop over for our first two nights in Port Blair. The hotel is situated nearby the prime location of Aberdeen market, though right not in the centre of the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The hotel was peaceful and quiet. Although the hotel doesn't look like much from the front, inside, the rooms are spacious, well lit, and the rest rooms clean and well maintained. Staff is very helpful, and respond promptly to any issues. The Restaurant is fairly good, and served fresh food during our stay Special Kudos : On both mornings of our stay we had to leave early (at around 5 am), and the staff had all our breakfast ready to go, as early as that! Plus the WiFi is free (which is kind of rare for Port Blair, since internet is extremely expensive here). Stayed June 2015, travelled with family
It is a very functional hotel, located near the jetty and airport. Cellular jail is also nearby and you can walk from the hotel to catch your early morning ship to Havelock Neil etc. It takes about 10 minutes by foot and rooms are very big considering the price you pay and 4 people can be accommodated ( for 3 people rooms). The AC was good, it had a TV also. The in-house restaurant serves very good food. We went for normal Dale Roti sabji and we were not disappointed. The pomfret fry was also good. The breakfast was not so great, just toast and egg boiled. But the same was ready at 5. 30 am packed properly, so cannot complain. All in all a decent place near to the jetty and airport and best for transit.
It is a nice and convenient hotel if you are transiting through Port Blair for other destinations in Havelock and this is the most convenient place to stay at a buffet It is near to airport- Prepaid taxi takes 100-120 from airport counter, near to jetty- walk by foot for your early morning ferry to Havelock, neil etc. It takes about 10 minutes and near to cellular jail for Port Blair sightseeing The hotels appearance from outside is not so good, but the rooms inside are big, well lit, air conditioned with geyser at the toilets. It has WiFi but can be only accessed from lobby. The in-house restaurant serves good food.
The hotel is convenient to locate and it is situated closer to city. The appearance of the hotel is very good and interiors are maintained well. The staff members in the hotel are helpful and prompt in services. The room allotted to us was maintained cleanly with all the needful amenities which were functioning properly. I did not eat food at this hotel since I was outside and had it there only. There were some activities conducted by the hotel management. I had been here with my family last month and our experience was good but the hotel is suggestive only for one time stay.
Stayed here for 2 nights on my trip to Port Blair. Hotel is situated far away from Market area. No eating option available nearby hotel. Pathetic rooms no ventilation & slow speed WiFi are some of the other feature of this hotel. I met the owner whose hospitality was good but other things are negative for this hotel. Will never go again.
