The School holds historical value

This school is a famous school started in the British era and the education standard is high. The School also holds historical value since it was started more that hundred years ago. Normal visitors are not entertained inside without permission.

A School with peaceful attractions

Good School with peaceful attractions, lush green landscape and good play ground on hilltop. This ground is used for VIP as helipad landing station.

Excellent School Campus

There is no fee to enter the school campus. The old building is still there along with the chapel. The environment is so clean and beautifully maintained. It was exciting to see that they have a huge swimming pool, an equestrian ground and all other sports facilities. The hamsters, emu birds, butterflies, peacocks were lovely to watch. The garden is full of beautiful flowers in all hues and colours. Wonderful effort by the Fathers to provide education in this place.

Not allowed inside the school

The Montfort school was established in 1917 by the effort of Bro.Montford after whom the school is named. Since we were not allowed inside the school we took some photographs from the gate and left the place. This place should be removed from places to see in Yercaud since you cannot enter the school.

Great school with good infrastructure

This is having extraordinary constructed building in old style. Actor vikram studied here. Location and infrastructure is excellent. We need to get a permission to visit this school before entering.

Nice experience of visiting a convent school

Visit to the school reminded me of my school days. We could see the children playing. Children will surely enjoy a visit to the school. There is a small animal area (zoo) inside the school premises which makes it all the more interesting.

Do go to the Mini Zoo

Montfort school is a good place to visit. It's good just to see the amenities. Also, the 'mini zoo' with birds and animals inside the campus is very good.

School that has created stars!

The school building looked enigmatic and with lots of space for students to play, and classrooms were airy and comfortable. So many people who have reached great heights were students of this school. The Tamil superstar Vikram was a student of this school and visits school every year during sports day.
