Its a cultural attraction

Mopungchuket is the oldest Ao Naga village near Mokokchung and has a number of cultural attractions: the lake where ceremonial sacrifices were made, traditional wooden carvings of Ao history, log drums and Ao Naga Cultural Museum which displays cultural and tribal artifacts since the colonial period. One can also see villagers make traditional brooms from palm leaves.
