The Mundra Port of Kutch along with the Special Economic Zone (MPSEZ) manages the largest privately owned port in the country. The project of this port was initiated by the Adani Group in 1988 as a logistics base for their international trade operations.

This port operates the world’s largest coal handling terminal in Mundra. It is spread over an area of 100 sq km out of which 6,893 acres are government notified, which makes it the largest private SEZ government notified port of India. This port also touched the statistics of operating 40 million tons of cargo in 2009-10.

Awesome place

It's awesome pace, must visit, you will get lots and lots to know, if possible should visit any ship there, from inside. Must set the guide there, should have food in canteen, its good, its the best port in India, should visit once.
