Very famous museum in South India

In Hampi museum all Vijayanagar empire things you can see and it is paisa vasool museum. You can see the weapons which they are using in that time and traditional dresses which they wear and you get knowledge of that guides will help you for this. You have to take four wheel vehicle to roam there because this places are little bit far.

Museum maintained by ASI

This place is situated in Kamalapura about 13-15 Km from Hospet. You can reach the Museum by bus for a nominal fare of Rs.13/-. You have to buy ticket (Rs.10/-) for entry. You can carry your camera but you cannot take photos of the exhibits. A visit here will prove to be very informative. The Museum is closed on Fridays.

Museum in the Royal area

Not many exhibits were displayed in this area. And whatever was displayed did not have great descriptions.

Museum Visit.

Not very well maintained! But compared to the standards of museums being maintained through out India, this one was better! Some of the exhibits beg for attention as they did not have write ups for us to identify them, the premises were clean though! Drinking water supply was not good; more seats need to be placed; audio visual show must be created; Museum can be open until 9 pm, allowing lighted viewing of the exhibits.

Not that great.

Description for the pieces is really bad. Some go as - 'Shiva' or something equally vague. No details of what it is, where they found it, or why it is in the museum.
