Quite beautiful and decently maintained

This lake is quite beautiful and decently maintained. The place is fabulous. There are many activities beside boating here. There are stalls nearby of food and other items for shopping.

Mulishi Valley

It's near to Pune, after the industrial town Poud Mulshi Valley filled with big mountains belongs to western ghats. In between a Lovely Lake with Dam and a Power Plant which maintained by TATA Power. Stunning beauty is valley's own. The Lake beginning in valley surrounded by mountains looks like elephant back's.June July peak rainy time like Mahabaleshwar. In September you can feel lots of greenery and lovely flowers like smiling mountain's. It's very nice not like Mahabaleshwar ghats. All the way you can have nice stay. You can plan trekking also here. It's little less expensive compared with Mahabaleshwar.Hope you enjoy.

Awesome Sunrise and Tea at the Mulshi

Awesome sunrise at the bank of the lake with pink skies. Sitting at the mouth of the ghats, the beautiful Sahyadris. Its the entrance to the stupefying and bountiful Tamhini ghats from Pune. It's also a shorter way to go to places like the beautiful beaches of Shreevardhan from Pune. The lake snakes around and around the ghats and it's a treat especially in the Monsoons!!

A good weekend Camp gateway

A good weekend camp gateway of you are near Mumbai or Pune. The scenic beauty is marvellous one and houses various species of wild life. Can camp overnight with many budget resorts available and offer cottage as well as tent stays who want to have an adventure filled overnight stay. Overall an excellent one day outing destination.

It's actually good to go out and get the chance to trekking and experience the best way to get exploring the possibility of nature. It's good to go there at Monsoon season.

Cheapest refreshment for Pune people

Very near to Pune. One can enjoy a lot of waterfalls in the Rainy season. The only requirement to go there is you must have a good companion and your own vehicle. Going on the same road you will reach Tamhini Ghats (if you are natural beauty lover you are gone like this place). Trekking is also possible on nearby hills.

Best time to visit is during monsoon

Absolute scenic beauty. If you love nature, this is the place you would want to visit. Roads are good. You can park your vehicle at various locations and can go near the lake. But you have to be careful as there are reptiles and strong currents inside water. The ideal trip to this place would be on a bike during monsoon.
