Impressive to view the dam

Which is nearest to Hyderabad around 6 hours of journey. You might feel very impressive while reaching to the dam and by looking to the dam from curved roads. Boat ride and ropeway also thrills and getting blessings from lord Shiva from here you can also reach Mahanandi which is one more pilgrims place.

A place to surely visit

This is the best dam I have seen in entire South India. I went to this Dam when all the gates were opened. The waterfall is really awesome. I am sure every visitor will be happy if they visit this Dam if all the gates are opened. This is the best place you will ever see because this dam is situated in hilly area and that brings the beauty to it. You can see this location only in movies. Due to technical problems we haven't gone on to the Dam. Sightseeing on the Dam is so thrilling and looks soo dangerous as well. But we really had a great day. This is also the best view for taking pics as well.

Beautiful view of waterfall from the dam

The trip was fun. I went on the day when all the gates were opened. It was like milk flowing from the dam. Nearby 10 km Ethipothala Waterfalls which was a fun to watch. We have to climb down some steps to enjoy the water flowing. We took many snaps as the place was so beautiful. Everyone should visit the place for sure.

Beautiful Dam which is visible from airplane also

This Feb 14 we have visited Nagarjunasagar dam. It's approximately 2. 30 hr journey from Hyderabad (telangana). Someone can reach there by government bus TSRTC or by own vehicle. There is no train facilities to Nagarjunasagar. The dam was very beautiful and there are total of 26 gates. This is the only dam that can be visible from airplane also.

Old and must see dam

This old dam is must see when the water is released from the gates. Boats are available to look around, it was not allowed if heavy water flow is there in the dam. The scenery was awesome and full of greenery.

Best time to visit is when the dam gates are opened

Its the biggest man made dam in Asia. You can enjoy boat ride around the island for about 1 hour. Besides, the place also offers nice food and nice people. The best time to visit is when the dam gates are opened.
