A massive temple

This temple is very magnificent and massive. You have lot of deities in here. Also the place is very nice and you can find that the temple has a great history for it. Another historic place in Kumbakonam.

One of the temples within city limits

I would suggest to go in the early morning, its peaceful and can feel the sunrise and nature! There is a local belief that the worship during morning, afternoon and evening needs to be performed at the three Nageswaran temples namely Nageswaran Temple, Tirunageswaram and Thirupampuram respectively.

Needs proper management

Even though Sri Nageswaran temple is one of richest temple in terms of hundi collections. Funds, donations especially from southern parts of India, the approach road, corridor are not piligrim friendly with lots of stones, pebbles, without rood under hot sun, inefficient management at temple to control crowd are some of difficulties we faced. It needs collective action by temple trust as well as local citizens to make it more convenient for peaceful darshan!!

Feel god even in the presence of crowed

The statue or idol is an unparalleled experience to stand before and surrender. The air is rarefied to stillness in the sanctum while a gentle breeze blows outside whispering something. The architectural and engineering feats have finely considered the elements of nature to give this unique ambience. Yes you feel alone with God in spite of the crowd milling for deep worship

The time wheel is a must see

The Prakaram is so nice and the time wheel at the entrance is a must see. Proper display should be done so that visitors would understand and appreciate
