Naida Caves Overview

Ranked 6 of 19 sightseeing in Diu

The Naida Caves are located outside the main wall of the Diu Fort that was constructed by the Portuguese. These caves have a big network of tunnels with square hewn steps. Locals believe that the Portuguese rulers hacked the building materials from the Naida Caves.

These caves are around 8 km from the Delwada rail station and are well-connected by road to different places within the destination.

Visit before sunset

Naiad caves are located near/outside the Diu Fort. So it is very easy to access. Almost one hour is enough for this attraction but you have to complete your visit her before Sunset. Parking space is there. Move slowly inside the cave, to enjoy silent beauty and to remain safe.

Very interesting and mysterious tourist

One of a very interesting and mysterious tourist attraction of Diu. Located close to main city near Jallandhar Beach. They are old caves with tortuous path inside and quite adventurous spot. Very beautifully carved caves having multiple cuts at roof which provides a magnificent view inside as sunlight falls on walls and whole environment becomes energetic.

Treat to eyes

This is one of the main attraction of Diu. This caves are much more beautiful than they look in photos. They are more like 'bhul bhulaiya'; once you are lost it will take at least 20 minutes to find your way out.

Old caves, found newly

Its recently found, its very old caves may be formed by weather, dont know any one lived there or not, this spot is ok for time pass, not necessary to go every time, just once is enough.
