Visit during Kaveri Pushkaram

There is big crowd, it took one hour to have darshan. Karnataka govt has made no special arrangements for this historic temple during Puskaram. We can visit this temple during the visit of Srirangapatna. My wife lost her purse at this temple. There are thieves during this festive season.

Visit to temple never hurts

We headed to this place after visiting Ranganathittu and Ranganathaswamy temple. There is Ganjam River which flows right next to the Temple. ou have to wash your feet before heading to the temple (Recommended: just to follow the tradition). There is free food available at the temple on full moon days only. You can cover this place as part of your tour/trip to Srirangapatna. A road trip is best to cover Mysore and Srirangapatna in two days.
