Most memorable adventure ever beneath the hills

Nongriat, according to me, is one of the most adventurous places I have ever experienced in my journey with nature in the North East region of India. Located in Cherrapunjee (Sohra), Meghalaya, this place consists of 3000 steps to walk up and down the slopes of the hills, and further more steps, paths, bridges to pass through in order to cross towards to the most important spots of this place such as witnessing the living root bridges, the rainbow falls (a waterfall which is connected by two/three more of waterfalls before it), and getting a chance to float on crystal clear waters. There are inns and home stay beyond this place which will provide tourist and visitors to stay in case if the visitors/tourists aren't able to complete their adventure within a day. The adventure in this place has not only hurt my legs for two days because of constant trekking without rest, but has also improved my endurance, mentality and spiritually as well... Which is why I highly recommend you to make sure you visit this particular location to absorb the beauty aspects of adventuring in North East India. Please keep in mind that when you planning to visit this amazing place:1. Make sure you dress comfortably since you will be sweating and constantly moving2. When you carry your bag, make sure you keep it lightweight. Your bag must contain: a. Your tiffin box of food b. A bottle of water c. Towels for swimming & sweats3. Speaking of swimming, I also highly recommend you to carry a life-vest in case you are still a learner in swimming. Plus some sections of the water are quite deep. Please be on the safe side.If you're planning to stay, you are always welcome to stay in some of the guest houses, home stays, that will provide you the hospitality that you need.
