Nyrit Villa is a well maintained bungalow nestled in a coffee estate, with a pretty garden where one can relax and enjoy fresh air and Nature. It is a four and a half hour's drive from Bangalore and the road is good till the last two kilometres We travelled with our elderly parents and the owner and Mr. Satish went out of their way to make us feel at home and make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had requested for non-spicy food and they took care of that making the food to suit our taste. Mr. Satish even took us sightseeing and pointed out a variety of birds in the area All in all, it was a good getaway if you just want to spend a quiet relaxed couple of days in a plantation environment.

We planned a visit to Sakleshpur for the new year weekend and stayed in Nyrit Villa for 2 nights. We were 4 couples and couple of very young kids. Since the place was all for us and no other groups, it made for an excellent new year for us. Place is very spacious, inside and outside. Lot of indoor and outdoor activities for both young and adults. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and clean. Food and service was the best part of it.
It was a very good experience staying at Nyritvilla - Homestay. We had been there with my family of 14 people. The ambience, interiors, food, safety are very good, we enjoyed a lot. I definitely refer for the group of 8 people or more for get together. Nice estate, cool temperature and relaxing environment.
The stay was good and food was excellent. Service was too good. The location of the stay was to good. This is the best place for family visits. Here was tracking and coffee estate walk through which was the best of all. Bird watching was also there people interested in photography this is paradise.
We visited Nyrit Villa during the Dasara vacation. Though we stayed only for a night, it was a very memorable experience for all of us especially for our 4 year old son, who in fact decided to draw Nyrit Villa during Christmas for a recent school drawing content :-) Satish and Ravi's families (who were visiting) are extremely affectionate folks and they took very good care of us and treated us like one of their own. We will definitely be visiting this place again More details on our experience:. 1) Booking: We called in only a couple of days ahead of our visit and had to change the reservation dates a couple of time, but Satish was helpful and accommodating 2) Getting erecting around: The property is fairly easy to access from the Bangalore-Mangalore highway. Satish not only gave us clear directions/maps, but also information on eateries/sight seeing places to make sure we had a good time overall 3) Property: Beautiful villa, gazebo, and garden, inside a 90 acre coffee plantation. The place is not overwhelmingly scenic, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and has a nice grandparent home kind of feel to it 4) Room: The master bedroom (the one we stayed in) is very clean and tastefully decorated with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The room itself and the attached bathroom are quite spacious and private as well. The villa has 3 bedrooms and also other areas that can be used as sleep areas. It should work well even for house parties up to 20 adults or so 5) Activities: We pretty much lazed around in the villa while our kid played with Ravi and Satish's kids (who were visiting). There is definitely a lot to explore in the plantation and some nearby attractions (sunset point, temple, train station, etc), but even at the villa itself, there were a bunch of enjoyable things to do. -Tons of board games. -Swings for little ones. -Nice little library with good reads. Cycling around (they have 3 cycles for little kids, big kids and adults). -Garden games (cricket, football etc). Watching the estate activities (wood chopping, coffee grinding). -Camp style bonfire, barbecue at night. 6) Food: Great homemade and delicious (mostly Malnad) food. There were enough yummy things to keep our picky son more than happy at all meals (late morning drinks, lunch, evening tea, dinner, breakfast). We had an awesome pineapple juice seasoned with fresh pepper, hot fluffy puris, some fancy pulaos, yummy pakodas/chilli bajjis, local varieties of dosas, idlis, Rotis and curries, etc They do have options for non-vegetarians, but that might be a bit limited 7) Staff/Service: Even though we didn't know the local language, the staff attended to our requests and needs very well without being intrusive 8) Extras: Be sure to pick some ground coffee. The plantation produce is great too.
WE just wanted to get away for a long overdue break and to be somewhere just by ourselves. Read, reflect and do things which we might not at home. And most modern hotels with TV and stuff do not allow this to happen. (Though they do have a TV with proper satellite connections if you wanted it . . Nyrit turned out to be the perfect getaway. Surrounded by coffee estates, it was ideal for long, adventurous walks. There is a high point on the estate which is interesting to find and take in the views There are a profusion of birds - from interesting ones to exotic ones. Have you ever seen a golden oriole in real life? Or a barbet? Amazing colors, bright and beautiful. And Guruji to show you these. You do not need to be an expert bird watcher. Just sit in the balcony of Nyrit Villa and observe all this! And Guruji, who runs the place, offers expert guidance. Scroll through his album to see the full season of birds that he has photographed just from that balcony So if you are a photography enthusiast and possess a camera with a decent enough zoom - enjoy! And the ride to the estate in the dead of night was thrilling, bordering on scary. Pitch black. Turn off the headlights and see if you can hold your nerve Kebabs and snacks around the log fire at night. And of course, "Chatni Devi's food. I call her Chatni Devi because at each meal she would produce a new variety or two of chatnis. If you think you have eaten every kind that India has to offer, check out Chatni Devi at Nyrit Villa.
Fabulous Villa. The mere size took us by surprise as we entered the premises. We knew we were in for a treat. Came in a big bunch and were extremely happy when we left, completely relaxed and in peace with nature . . Satish and Ravi are fantastic people. They took care of every small need. The villa is very spacious and fully furnished. Spacious bed rooms and comfortable beds. Very well maintained bathrooms and bedrooms. They have a big tv and a nice selection of movies and songs. Satish and his staff treated us with courtesy. They made sure everything was neat. We were a group of 15 and didn't find any problem with anything they had to offer or provide. Enough space for all of us to sleep. Food was delicious. Especially the Paddu and Masala Dose. We feasted on it. Not to forget, they prepared their cuisine. Opposite the villa, there is enough space. We played cricket, football and Badminton. Campfire at night is unforgettable. It was a perfect sendoff for our friend. The estate walk and the jeep ride was cool. There are a couple of places around. We had lunch on a really nice hill top which we found. Satish and Ravi were kind enough to pack food for us My advice to you : Don't worry about anything. Just go and have fun. Carry an Umbrella, Jacket, Raincoat and cash. Rest, they will take care. :).
Location is very good and near to the bus stand. The surrounding is good and the staff were friendly and helpful in their behaviour. The interior and exterior appearance is good and the room was spacious, neat and well maintained. There was hill and plantation view from the room and the food quality was good I had only vegetarian food. My stay was comfortable and activities were provided. There was no sightseeing trip organized and I stayed for two days. They should provide sightseeing trip and it was a relaxation trip with family. It was value for the money and I would like to recommend other travellers to visit the hotel.
I went to Sakleshpur along with my friends in the end of July and stayed at Nyrit Villa for two nights. We went there to enjoy our weekend . This home stay is really good. It is situated in the coffee estate of their own. It is very clean and neat. There is no pool but it has got some recreation stuff such as a standard one), Badminton, carom . The staff were very humble and responsive. The owner was very friendly. He took us for estate drive and made arrangement for camp file for which we are not charged any extra. The food is awesome. They serve non veg too. But the non veg kitchen is in separate building all together. There are no hotels nearby, you have to depend on the food that they serve. It is really tasty They provide items like towel, soap, toothpaste but I did not see any shampoo, toothbrush as such . I would recommend one time visit to this home stay . .
