We have been there on 15 August 2015 with 15 member group. But we had very terrible experience. Stray dogs roaming in eating areas, because there was no cleanliness in entire area so many crows jumping on food. Room floor was always so wet that, we cannot even change our clothes. All room were like that. Swimming pool was not clean. So rain dance area. After seeing all these we decided to returned. So we asked management to return half money, but they refused. If anyone want to feel sick go there. They charge much more than other good places. But not even provide least service.
Don't expect too much The rooms are typical village hut rooms with khatiyas as beds. No wardrobe. No hangers. You can hang your clothes on nails / screws put on the walls. But be careful while taking them for wearing because there might be a lizard underneath. No TV in the room or anywhere in the resort. So no touch with the outside world . No geyser in the bathrooms, you can get a bucket of hot water with the help of the caretaker No civilization around the complex for maybe 5 - 10 Km. So be careful don't venture out in the evening. We had terrible experience. At night when we were sleeping some guys locked our rooms from outside leaving us stranded. Some of us were lucky whose rooms were not locked & we could free the others No power. It can go anytime & you have to be after the caretaker to switch on the generator. Many times the resort does not have diesel (or maybe its an excuse to not turn on the generator! ). Its difficult to contact the caretaker since there is no intercom or buzzer. So be ready to use your Mobile & lose in terms of standard calls On way to farm there are no sign boards & there is nobody on the road to advice you. The villagers whom we met had not heard of Omkar Farms. So again you have to be in touch with the farm owners on your cell phone to reach the farm The rooms need good cots, pest control etc The food is awesome & activities ( swimming pool / rain dance, indoor games are very good Its far away & from Mumbai you need at least 3 hours due to the very bad condition of roads.
