Palani Hills - a spectacular scenery

The Palani hills are so alluring and spectacular. The beauty of the hill is more visible during night. The temple at its top point makes it a unique one. You can easily reach Kodai or Kodaikanal from here. It is just 62 km away and can be reached within two hours or even earlier.

Great view from top

You get a bird's eye view of Palani and other surrounding places from the hilltop and the mountains around. Great view also from the Winch and Rope Car as you commute up or down the hill.

Enjoy the shopping and hill climbing together

Palani temple is one of the six houses of Lord Muruga. Palani hill is a very small hill, even small child also can climb it. We can enjoy while climbing the hill. There are shops on the both side of the way. We can enjoy the shopping and hill climbing together.

For body and mind

Palani hills is a small hill known for the Lord Muruga situated 70 km from Coimbatore and 115 km from Madurai. There are four ways to reach the top of the hill; namely rope way, winch rope train, steps and the elephant pathway. Elephant pathway is easy to climb and the steps are little difficult but very good exercise and you will have nice breeze. The trees are not much. This is the place for mind and body.

The early morning inspiration

We started early in the morning to climb the steps. There is a parallel slope to walkthrough. Good experience and a test to our stamina.
