The Pandavleni Caves are situated on Trivashmi Hill’s tableland and their existence dates back to some 2000 years. Around 24 caves were built by Jain kings and these caves housed Jain saints like Veer Manibhadraji, Tirthankara Vrishabdeo and Ambikadevi. More than 40 caves on a hill

Pandavleni is actually regular destination for exercising for Nashik public. It has excellent caves. There are more than 40 caves which were supposed to be built in 2nd century. According to me these are largest caves after Ajanta and Ellora.2 hours are enough to observe each cave.Visit during sunny day.

It's a Buddhist cave

It has total 24 caves and are very old. This cave is related to Buddha religion. It requires 10-15 minutes walk for reaching these hills. Best time is to visit early morning.

Awesome place to visit in Nasik

One of the best place to visit while in Nashik. Very well-maintained caves. The rock carvings and statues keep you spellbound. The whole place is neat and clean. Only exception is a guide who could explain the mythological importance of the place. Overall impressive caves.

Nasik's hidden gem

Pandavleni Caves are one of the must see attractions in Nashik. The caves are so beautiful especially during the rains. You have to climb a few steps for it as it is on top of a hill top will take you hardly 10-15 mins to reach there. A must go on full moon days or poornima as one uncle come here and meditate. He lights up the candles in the cave most probably in cave 15, 16 I don't remember actually. But the picture with candles and Lord Buddha will always remain in your heart. Do go for it.

Nice ancient Buddhist Caves

Pandavleni Caves - 2000 year old ancient rock-cut Buddhist caves which are worth a visit. The sculpture makes you realize how talented and skilled our craftsmen were at that period.

Clean and beautiful Caves

The Cave is just before Pathardi Phata. The Cave is well-maintained and the place is neat and clean. It's a hangout place for college buddies as well as couples. The Cave is at not much height. One can take mere 15-20 mins to reach the Caves, which is plus point for some traveller. Have a go once.

Amazing Historical Monument

The last day of the BH3 Hash Hash took us too the Heritage site which is at a height of 1000 metres. We took a hiking trail to the top and then went through all the caves and took a mud path to the top of the hill which gives a beautiful panoramic view of Nasik and its surrounding areas.

Nice caves to see, and not too much of trouble in climbing. I would recommend it for all. You have to pay entry fee, it's nicely maintained.
