We went to Goa in the month of June 2016. It was a family trip to the destination. My company has booked the hotel room. The destination was good. I like the Dornakola over the destination. The hotel is located away from the city. The reception area was comfortable with good sitting arrangements. The room was superbly decorated all the amenities within the room were perfect. We had the complimentary breakfast which was good. We did not have food at the hotel. I am not aware of extra activities over the hotel. Overall superb stay.
I stayed here and my stay was comfortable. The hotel is appropriately located and I did not face any difficulties in finding it. The surroundings both in interior and exterior were attractive and maintained hygiene. The service given by the staff was good and they were friendly in performance. The room allotted was maintained neat with all the essential amenities in functioning condition and there was no postponement during sign in and sign out process. The hotel is worth for the money and I recommend this hotel to other travellers.
The service was nice. The overall experience was nice in the hotel. The restaurant was not available at the hotel. There was no delay in check in and checkout. The appearance of the hotel was very good. The garden was not available at the hotel. The parking place was not available at the hotel. I had visited hotel for business work. I don't have any suggestion for this hotel.
I stayed in this hotel on august 2015. Location wise it was very good, and it was close to the bus stand. Appearance of the hotel was average. No Garden was available. Different categories of rooms are available. Food was not provided in this hotel. No activities or games were arranged by hotel. I will refer this hotel to my friends. I would like to suggest this hotel; it would be good if they make the charges low
This is a heritage paradise. One of the favourite destination for all foreign tourists visiting Goa. It gives you the feel of staying in a palace. Artistic had crafted chairs, beds with artistic mouldings, beautiful paintings and gorgeous interiors, this place surely tops the charts of Heritage hotels in Goa Though it is located 15mins from the heart of Panjim city, this place is worth visiting. The food is tasty and most importantly, very hygienically served. The toilets have a range of herbal shampoos and moisturisers to choose from as per the need of the guests. One of the highlights of this place was that each room has a tag saying Bed is clean' guests are requested to put the tag on the bed before the rooms are clean if they do not wish to get their bed sheets changed Save water for our future is their moto. Staff is very warm and humble.
Stayed here in the standard rooms with complimentary breakfast last month with friends. Appearance and outlook of the hotel is mixed with heritage and local culture. Interior from the front desk to lobby and rooms, the entire hotel is decorated with beautiful modern arts wall paintings and crafts. Rooms are AC with an heritage old royal look bed in it. Furnitures were new, entire hotel is very old furnished Except breakfast the hotel doesn't have restaurant but breakfast was pretty delicious and memorable. Room service was good. Staff and manager have very nice and friendly attentive behaviour Location of the hotel is great with lots of shops from bar, restaurants to shopping store nearby. Nice archaeological Goa state museum has very near to the hotel about 2 km or less. Stayed here for 1 day before moving for Calangute beach but had an awesome time, specially at night at the nearby shops and bars.
Stayed here for work and the hotel was a revelation to stay the least. Very helpful staff and good food. The breakfast spread is a little shallow and you may think about dining late as the restaurant closes at 10. The location is splendid for people travelling for work as it is close to city commercial district. It has lovely destination for heritage walks as well.
This a nice place for business travelers who want to stay there for a quick one or two days of stay. The food is very good especially the mutter paneer & Dale fry. The food is not heavy on the stomach and has a home cooked feel to it. The old Portuguese style ambience also makes it a nice quaint place to stay around in. The only con is that it doesn't have a travel desk so sometimes it becomes difficult to make arrangements for conveyance should you not have a vehicle of your own. Many of the guests there are foreigners looking for an authentic Goan experience. I have rated the activities section as terrible primarily because there is no activity room or options to workout or swim or anything like that.
They traveled by their own vehicle. It was in the city. There was a shopping mall and temple surrounding the hotel. The staff were friendly, hygienic and helpful and attending all requests. Room was spacious, clean, neat and well maintained. Pillows, blankets, bed sheets were clean. There was a garden view from the room. Food was nice of both vegetarian and non veg. There was no problem at check in and check out. It was a slack season and it was good for the value for money. The swimming and indoor games were available in the hotel. The hotel was having the facility of providing a vehicle for sightseeing, but they arranged site seeing themselves. It was a trip with the family.
I did not face any difficulty in reaching the hotel as it was conveniently located. I was there for a business purpose. The staff were courteous, friendly and co-operative. The rooms were spacious, neat and maintained hygienic with the entire ambience at a perfect condition. There was a Ganga river view. The food was delicious with lot of varieties. I suggest this hotel to other travellers.
